This place was so nice that me and my husband were in shock for the first 20 minutes! Rich and Sam (the downstairs neighbour) were so helpful and nice, they made it a real treat! The neighborhood is great and on a nice day, the terrace is a great location to enjoy the sounds of the city. Thanks Rich and Sam for making our "wedding week" amazing!

Perfect Christmas get-away for a family of 7

This house is GORGEOUS -- literally like staying in between the pages of a interior design magazine. It was the perfect place to entertain family over the holidays.

Great location to experience all that Harlem has to offer -- close to historic spots like the Apollo and Sylvias soul food (YUM) -- and cabs are accessible and the subway to downtown is a couple blocks away. The neighborhood is incredibly friendly, which was a significant worry of my small town parents visiting NYC for the first time. The renter and basement tenant were amazingly accommodating -- even dropped off some logs so we could have a fire without having to stop at the store on our vacation.

I would recommend this to everyone visiting NYC with a large group. The only negative I'd give is that it was pretty far north of a lot of the things we decided to do, which made it difficult to stop home between activities, but that just takes some extra planning. I would definitely rent this place again. Heck, I want to move in!

Generally our experience was very good with both the leasing agent and the owner. We had problems with the heat and some noise and both were solved by the next day quickly and efficiently. If we had stayed longer it would have felt like less of an inconvenience. The leasing agent went out of his way to accomodate our early arrival and schedule. The apartment is very large, clean and for the middle of big city, very quiet adjacent to a small park. It was very well equiped and we could have stayed there for a very long time. We parked on the street with no problems and the subway was about 7 blocks away and car service was available.

A Jewel in Harlem

My family just returned from our amazing trip in NYC. We stayed in this spectacular townhouse in Harlem, the pictures do not do it justice!. It is very artful and fun in decor. Very roomy, very comfy, had everything we needed at hand. The owner was easily accessable, as a few questions did arise.
The townhouse is located in a great neighborhood in Harlem, with a good mix of new and old. There are many amenities nearby, grocery, retail, dining, and subways. There were always people out and about, felt very safe and welcome. Parking was for the most part easy, had a little juggling, but that is to be expected in NYC.
Our trip was funfilled and exciting, the accommodations were the icing on the cake!
