Haleiwa holiday condo

We absolutely loved our stay! It was the perfect accomodations for us. We have two young girls, and being on the ground floor on the beach absolutely made our experience wonderful! We could walk right to the sand, and then come back and forth every time the girls needed a drink, the bathroom, a snack or a rest, and then head right back out.

I especially appreciated all the beach towels and sand toys. There was also snorkel gear and a boogie board and two binoculars. There were plenty of bath towels and wash cloths and linens for our 7-day stay. It was great having washers and driers on the property when we needed it, and there was even some laundry detergent in our closet.

Janet came by on our second day there to make sure everything was okay, and her husband came over to help us figure out how to work the futon. Very easy once he showed us! They are a very nice and welcoming couple.

It was also great to have the resident manager right next door to us. He was very helpful and friendly and funny! And he keeps the grounds immaculate.

The city of Haleiwa was fabulous beyond our expectations! An easy drive to the Dole Plantation and also to the Polynesian Cultural Center. There were lots of places to eat, including a McDonald's (essential when you have two young girls!), lots of shops, and the grocery story was right on the main strip.

I couldn't ever imagine staying anywhere else when we travel to Oahu. This will now be our regular "hang-out" when we return to Oahu.

This was the first stop (1/18/09-1/23/09) on our nineteen day three island honeymoon and it was perfect. The location is perfect as you really are 11 steps, ok maybe 11 paces from a quiet private beach. It is a very quiet location! We found that it was great for getting around the entire island, driving wise. The neighbors are very nice and extremely helpful. The place is fully stocked with not only cooking utensils but more importantly lots and lots of spices. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay on Oahu. The pictures are very accurate of what the area is like, this is a very nice place.
