Easy living space with large screened porch, gas grill and private tranquil setting. Hear the loons and see the eagles or go fishing for bass or trout. Commune with nature or relax with Direct TV. Close to Belgrade Lakes Golf Course and Colby College. Located on Great Pond in Belgrade, Maine this is the setting inspired by the movie On Golden Pond. Great Pond is over 8200 acres in size and is one of the most desirable lakes in Maine. The swimming is great and there are very few boats on this lake.

We had a wonderful week on Great Pond . The cabin is
perfect , very cozy with all the comforts of home . Really enjoyed the quite location . Spent several afternoons on the dock , swimming and sun bathing . We even got to bring our dog on vacation . What fun ! We are already talking about what week we want to visit next summer . Also thought a weekend in the fall would be beautiful with the foliage .
