Great Restaurants in the Neighborhood: - Chez Papa @ Missouri and 18th. This has been ranked as one of the best French restaurants in the city and is absolutely my favorite place. It is country French. Very rustic and no small fussy plates. And, the service is really friendly and they have a great selection of French wines that are very reasonably priced. If you like lamb, you must have the Lamb Daub with the white emergo beans. Yum! - Thinker's Cafe - Just around the corner from the house on 20th. This is your best spot for morning coffee, newspaper reading and general people watching. - Goat Hill Pizza - an SF institution that has been on the hill forever, and was once a favorite hang out of the Grateful Dead. Oh, and the pizza is great. - Aperto - Great northern Italian @ Connecticut at 18th....just across the street from Goat Hill Pizza. - The Good Life Grocer - on 20th between Connecticut and Missouri. Great little grocer with most everything you might need.

Everything we wanted and more

This is a great house--so attractive and comfortable and in a great little neighborhood. We didn't watch a lot of TV, but the TV/stereo system is fantastic. We loved having morning coffee upstairs, looking out on the bay. And, in the evenings, the beautiful backyard complete with barbecue and hot tub was the perfect place to relax. We'll be back for sure!

My girlfriend and I stayed in this amazing house in Potrero Hill for a long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer. The view from the master bedroom is unreal, with panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline and Bay Bridge. And the backyard, complete with hot tub, was a comfortable retreat where we escaped from the hustle and bustle after a day of running around the city.

The location was perfect, with easy access to many parts of the city and only a 5 min drive from the SF Giants ballpark. Potrero Hill is a comfortable and hip neighborhood and from what we heard and experienced, has some of the best weather in San Francisco. When everywhere else was foggy we were in And just walking around the neighborhood you will experience some of the most amazing views of downtown and the bay. I was sure I recognized some of them from movies.

I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit and experience San Francisco. It's perfect for one or two couples, with enough space to stretch out. It's much more comfortable than a hotel and very reasonably priced. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
