Charming country house in Southern Tuscany
Peaceful apartment in the upper part of owners' house, with independent entrance. Just ten minutes' walk from the historic town in Siena province, surrounded by spectacular countryside, olive groves and vineyards, with Lake Trasimeno in the distance. Down a private road, with a wide lawn, fruit and oak trees and a comfortable patio-veranda furnished for eating outside. Siena and Perugia can be reached in less than 1 hour, Rome and Florence in about 90 minutes. But the clean coast of the Tirreno sea is very near too! Have a look at the autumn and winter rates.

10 minutes' walk from the nearest supermarket. The house is a perfect base to visit Rome - 90 minutes drive - or Florence - 60 minutes. But it can also be a nice relax after a week in large Italian towns. Perugia and Siena are reached in under 1 hour. Shorter trips may lead to Pienza and lesser known historic centres. Besides, a genuine local cuisine, beautiful walks and cultural events are to be enjoyed all year long. Montepulciano is appreciated by tourists, it is rich in beautiful Renaissance palaces and offer surprising views, but it is not as overcrowded as other Tuscan towns.

The property has a separate kitchen, washing machine, sky tv and plenty of safe parking space is available. Beautiful walks for nature lovers and cultural events (theatre, classical music) all year long. Cellar visits and local food products for gourmets. Main towns and many lesser known centres of exceptional interest at easy reach, so you can leave your luggage here and travel for the day to Florence or Siena or Rome, even by train, without wasting time looking for car parks or other accomodation. You will have a place all for yourself, and you will be in touch with real Italy, not among other tourists.
