Casa Jazmin is a comfortable two bed roomed house in a small, quiet complex of 17 properties 600m from the beach. The complex is in a residential area and is surrounded by large, luxury villas and houses. It has its own private, walled and sunny rear garden and a large secluded roof patio from which there are beautiful panoramic views. Fully equipped, it is suitable for both couples and families. Access is available directly from the street and the property is all on one level. There are shops bars and restaurants on the sea front which is 5 mins walk away. The large pool and garden in the complex is never busy . The house is very suitable for couples wishing to spend the Winter in a balmy climate as this area has one of the best ‘sunshine records’ in southern Spain. It is 5 mins drive from the new luxury golf complex of Marina del Torre with its 5 star hotels, Villas and 18 hole golf course overlooking the sea. There are 3 other golf courses within easy driving distance .

Mojacar is a typical Andalusian Pueblo Blanco (white town).It stands perched on a hill overlooking the sea and has many windy narrow streets to explore. There are superb beaches all along the mediterranean coast here most of which are quiet and unspoilt by development. Trips to Granada, Murica, Almeria and the many picturesque villages of the Andalusian coast are possible within a day. The Cabo de Gata national park with its marine wildlife sanctuary is a must for sight seeing and great for Divers. For Golfers there are superb golf courses close at hand.

The Beaches: The Area around Mojacar boasts one of the best coastlines in Southern Spain. MaThe area ny beaches have 'blue flag' (Bandera Azul) designations for the cleanliness of the water and beach. The immediate area has over 17Km of sand and pebbled coast and the Cabo de Gata national park has many secluded coves and tranquil locations. The clear blue waters of the coast makes all kinds of water sports including diving and snorkeling a pleasure.

Sun and Sea for all Tastes: The beach at Vera Playa also has a large area designated for naturist sunbathing. Most beaches are within easy driving distance of Mojacar. It is worth a short trip to discover some of the more secluded and beautiful ones. With all of this waterside space available it is easy to find the kind of location you want: busy, secluded, quiet, adventurous, beautiful.

Getting There: Flights to Almeria from most areas of the UK. There are also flights from Ireland direct to Almeria which is the nearest Airport Flights from most major UK airports are possible to Alicante and Murcia most days of the week. Mojacar lies East of the regional capital of Almeria approx. 45 min driving time along the E15 motorway. From Alicante and Murcia it is approx. 1 1/2 to 2 hours by car. Car Hire from all these airports can easily be arranged from the UK or Ireland. Fuel in Spain usually costs less than in Britain. There are local companies who arrange airport transfers also. Nice villa in Mojacar

My wife and I (aged 55+) stayed here in the winter. The villa is located at the quieter end of town and quite a walk to the nearest shops, a few bars and sea (600 meters) and up-hill on the way back so the car was essential for us. Spacious loung/diner and reasonable kitchen area but 3rd bedroom is really the glassed in balcony off the lounge so it would be a bit crowded for six people. Some of the furniture is a bit dated but OK and the place could do with a bit of paint and some repairs but nothing major. The walled back yard really is a sun-trap (as advertised) and not overlooked which is great. The downside is that there's not much of a view (although there is from the roof terrace) and there was only one decent sun bed and one rickety one. The communal pool is fine although we only used it once because it's not very hot in February. This is not a luxury villa but fairly private and comfortable enough.
