Relax and unwind in front of a warm toasty fire after a long walk on a beautiful secluded beach. Fabulous Master bedroom has private balcony and large Jacuzzi bath. Great restaurants, entrainment and shopping – or just kick back. Additional features include: Wireless internet access, full garage, beach toys and chairs. Large wrap around deck includes dining table and large grill. Outdoor foot bath at front entrance and fabulous outdoor shower off the deck. Access to private Hither Hills beach is a 3 minute walk from the house. Key to access beach parking lot provided. Golf is minutes away at Montauk Downs Golf Course.

The summer temperatures average in the upper 80s by day, going down to the high 60's to low 70's by night. Water temperature averages in the 70's in summer. There are over 50 restaurants from casual to upscale, romantic to fun and lively. We have great golfing, fabulous fishing, biking and hiking. Montauk harbor is not to be missed. Its the heart of the fishing fleet, both commercial and recreational. Montauk's wide ocean beaches rank among the top in the country. Great rolling breakers move in on miles of white gleaming sand. No boardwalks or development here. It's all natural.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Typically, a Deposit of 25% of the Rent and a Signed Lease is required to reserve this property. The balance of the Rent and a Security Deposit (Summer $1000 weekly, $1,500 monthly - adjusted for fall, winter and spring weekend stays @ $500) is required 30 Days Prior to Arrival Date, plus a house cleaning fee of $150 (weekly) or $200 (monthly). Fall, Winter and Spring weekend special cleaning fee is $100. Lease terms are available on-line following verbal confirmation of the reservation with electronic acceptance capability. Owner will also provide a Lease via email upon request. All utilities are included in weekly rentals. Longer term rentals will be charged for utilities. Weekly rentals are Sunday 5pm to Sunday 12 noon.

    Annual or 2009 summer season rental is possible.

We rented this house in the summer of '08 and it was truly beautiful. It was perfect for us and our 3 young children, less than 5 in walk to private, beautiful beach. The house had everything you would need for the beach; chairs, wagon, buckets etc, And all you could wish for in a home. The house was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The owner provided excellent customer service and plenty of local info as it was our first trip to Montauk, the kids still talk about their trip there! I would recommend this property to those with families or adults only. You would need a car to get there and for easy access to town.
Very happy memories of our stay there!!

Your home is so perfectly appointed that it is difficult to find anything that needs improvement. We have similar taste... The kids loved, loved the outdoor shower...you were right! Also, my husband completely enjoyed grilling on the BBQ... that was a welcomed break for me. Steve also made himself at home in your 6th floor. office~that was right up his alley...I had to remind him that we were on vacation~lol. What can I say, we loved your vacation home, your neighbors spoke highly of you... We appreciate that the pair of you are so dedicated to the "Hither Hills" community. Our family has been vacationing in Montauk for over 20 years... We felt right at home. If it all works out next summer, we would love to come right back!
