Story and a half lake front cabin on Nolin Lake. Fantastic view of the lake on over an acre lot. This 3 year old cabin has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The bedroom in the finished basement has 2 twin bunk beds along with 2 futons. Outside has a 2 tier deck and a professional cornhole pit. Property also has a boat slip so you don't have the hassle of pulling your boat out of the water everyday. Inside features wooded vaulted ceilings and wood stairs. The master suite includes your own full bath and plenty of privacy. There is a real wood burning fireplace made of stone and plenty of firewood to start a fire with. This cabin comes equipped with games, TV's and DVD's and wired speakers all through out, including outside. All the amenities you have at home you will find here and much more! This is the perfect place for a family reunion, weekend getaway, or family vacation.

A Kentucky cabin....

We throughouly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The owners were extremely accomodating to our group. The description was completely accurate along with other information. The cabin was a perfect fit for our group and truly was a home away from home. It was spacious and provided enough room for our large group. I would recommend this cabin to others if they are planning a trip to Kentucky. I enjoyed staying in a home (rather than hotel) and the attractions (Mammoth Cave, Kentucky Down Under, and Dinosaur World) were all within less than an hour drive. If you are looking for peace and quiet and don't care that "the city" (sores, restaurants) is about a 35 minute drive, then this cabin is for you.

Nolin retreat

We stayed at the cabin over Labor Day weekend 2008. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood was beautiful and private.
We had no problem accommodating our 5 vehicles and 2 boat trailers. It comfortably slept the 8 adults and 1 child we had with us. The downstairs bedroom is perfect for children (the bunk beds).
We spent most of the days down on the very large boat dock that is shared with the other neighbors. A great place to hang out, swim, and fish even if you don't bring your boat. * I definitely recommend renting the golf cart or bringing a 4-wheeler with you to go back and forth from the boat dock, especially if you and older adults, small children, and coolers! We spent most of the evenings out on the large spacious deck overlooking the wooded view of the lake and playing corn hole out on the large concrete patio.
Overall we had a great time!
