Great Family Getaway!

We spent a nice long holiday weekend here and we had plenty of room. There were nine adults and a baby and we each had our own space. Everything was very clean and we did not have problems with anything. It was nice that we only had to bring clothes and food, everything else is provided in the home. We did have to take all of the garbage to a dumpster, but you also have the option to leave it for a small charge if you want. Great location, we made use of the pool at the owners club and we could walk there! Its only about 15 minutes to downtown Galena also. The owners are so nice and very easy to contact. We would use this home again if we decide to visit Galena with our family.

The house was very spacious and clean. The common social areas were well kept and big enough for all 12 of us to enjoy. The only hangups were the hot tub had some problems but they were able to fix it in time for us to use before we left. The other issue was garbage. At the complex all garbage needed to be driven to a drop off location. This was inconvenient due to 12 people worth of garbage for 3 days. Overall we all had a very enjoyable experience! The owners were easy to reach for any questions which is a major plus. And when we went sightseeing, downtown Galena was only 10 min away. We would definitely consider coming back in the summer.
