´Le Triolet´ is surrounded by ancient trees, meadows, an organic vegetable garden and stream, all within the 5,000 m2 Garden of our country home which is located 300 meters from the village on the road to the beach. On the ground floor of our ecologically-restored house you´ll find the kitchen, dining room, bathroom and a spacious living- / bedroom. There are two charming bedrooms (each with 1 double and 1 single bed) with a mezzanine.

Further Details: Destinations in the near vicinity for every type of interest and the Pyrenees are close by.

Surf: The best surfconditions in Europe ! Specially the main spots : La Nord and Les Estangnots near Hossegor are said to be the most powerfull beachbreaks of the north atlantic. Hossegore is 15 kilometres south of Messanges. Best conditions are in autum - up to 18 feet. Molites, Messanges and other near by beaches offer very good surfing conditions as well and these beaches are suitable for beginners too. If you are interested in a surf course we could pass informations on surf school programms and pricing. If you book a surf course in messanges through us you'll get a reduction of about 10%.

Golf: The nearest golf cours is in Moliets about 2 miles away directly at the sea - 18 and 9. The small cours is open for players without handicap too. There are other courses in Vieux Bouceau ( 2 miles), Seignosse (8 miles), Hossegor (10 miles). The pricing especially off season are very competative. Moliets is said to be one of the most beautyfull golf courses in europe.

Wir verbrachten hier zu Viert von München aus einen superschönen 2-wöchigen Urlaub bei optimalem Wetter.Das großzügig geschnittene und liebevoll eingerichtete Haus war bei Ankunft angenehm sauber und wirkte sofort sehr einladend!Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und sofort mit dem Haus vertraut gemacht.Auch standen die Vermieter immer wieder für gute Tips und Anregungen für Urlaubsaktivitäten zur Verfügung.Die Nachbarschaft zu den Eigentümern empfanden wir positiv.Das Haus bietet locker Platz für 6 Personen!Die Nähe zum beeindruckenden Atlantikstrand,die besonders naturschöne Umgebung sowie die Möglichkeit für sportliche Aktivitäten (Wellensurfen,Fahrradfahren,Reiten,Kanufahren,Joggen u.v.m.) machen dieses Ferienhaus attraktiv.Mit dem Auto erreicht man schnell die beeindruckenden Städte in südlicher Richtung bis nach Spanien.Wer im Urlaub unbedingt einen Fernseher braucht, wird ihn hier sicher nicht vermissen!Wir werden dieses Objekt unseren Freunden weiterempfehlen!
Owner's Response: Wir bedanken uns für diese positive Bewertung, möchten aber gerne die missverständliche Formulierung bezüglich des nicht vorhanden TVs kommentieren: Wir haben in diesem Haus bewust auf Unterhaltungselektronik verzichtet! Ein Fußballspiel kann man sich auch im örtlichen Bistro anschauen. Da ist Stimmung garantiert.

Traumhafter großer Garten, umfangreich ausgestattete Küche, entspannte, vertrauensvolle Vermieter, Geschenke aus dem Garten (Feigen, Kürbis, Zucchini), jahreszeitlich-bedingt Ende Sept. kühl und luftfeucht, direkte Sonne nur am Nachmittag, Angebot Sonnenseite des Gartens nutzen zu dürfen, nettes Dorf, gutes Restaurant, toller Strand -> !!empfehlenswert!! :-)
Owner's Response: Grundsätzlich darf von Gästen der gesamte Garten genutzt werden ( siehe Hausbeschreibung ) - vom Bach bis zum Waldrand. Der Gemüsegarten ist verständlicherweise die Ausnahme.

Es sind mehrere Tische bzw. Essplätze auf dem Grundstück verteilt, inclusive der grossen Südterrasse unseres Hauses , die auch zur Verfügung steht und bis mittags Sonne hat.

Das Grundstück ist gegen die Hitze im Sommer auf der Südseite mit grossen Bäumen bestanden. Auch in der Nachsaison ist daher wie richtig beschrieben auf der Terrasse des Ferienhauses erst nachmittags Sonne. Wer in der Sonne frühstücken oder relaxen möchte kann einen der besonnten Plätze wählen oder sich einen der vielen Gartentische hinstellen wo er will.

Die Biskaya ist vom Wetter her nicht kategorisierbar : im Extremfall ändert sich das Wetter mehrmals am Tag. Wir leben hier seit 15 Jahren und haben noch keine Regelmäßigkeit feststellen können.
Feucht ist es immer, denn wir sind nur ein paar Meter vom Meer entfernt und im Wald ! Die Temperaturen sind bei schönem Wetter in der Sonne nie unter 20 Grad - sogar im Winter . Im Gegenteil kann es selbst im Juli mal unter zehn Grad im Schatten sein. Biskaya eben. Wir wünschen ihnen und uns gutes Wetter !

Unsere erholsamsten Ferien

Die Beschreibung hält was sie verspricht, es ist wirklich so schön da. Alles super sauber und gepflegt. Der Strand ist ideal mit Fahrrad (abgetrennter Fahrradweg) zu erreichen. Wir haben das Haus schon 2 x gemietet und fahren immer wieder gerne hin. Die Vermieter sind super nett und behilflich (aber nicht aufdringlich). Wer mit Kindern ruhigen Strandurlaub machen möchte, mit dem Fahrrad schöne Ausflüge und ansonsten gerne Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Schöne Märkte und weitere Attraktionen sind in der nahen Umgebung zu finden.
