Charming dowtown apartment in high standing building

We had the pleasure of visiting AIX for 10 days in November and found this apartment online. Maurice and his wife Hélène
have created a virtual paradise for the renter in AIX.
The apartment is well situated and close to shopping and the old town. There is an underground parking spot for those who wish to drive or rent a car.
The apartment has every possible convenience, save a clothes dryer.
The quality of the appliances are first rate. The quality of all the furnishing are beyond great.
If you like to cook the island cook top and superb set of pots and pans will make it a breeze.
Every details has been taken care of by this warm and friendly couple to make your stay effortless.
The beds were great. The desk in the second bedroom has a great chair if you need to do some work. There are even power bars there to allow you to plug in your PC easily. There are electric shutters that create a superb slumber experience. The balcony is large and well appointed with comfortable furniture.
From the detailed instruction manual prepared by Maurice to all the original appliance manuals it's all there to answer all your queries.
The apartment is in a lovely modern and impeccably maintained building. You could eat off the floor in the garage! It's that clean!! As was the apartment.
Maurice and his wife Hélène welcomed us and gave us a bottle of locally produced wine. ( A red and it was very nice).They were available by phone if you needed assitance.
The apartment does not have a landline but it has a blazingly fast WIFI connection so you can use SKYPE or as I did buy a SIM card and use it while you are in France. They are sold widely at all Tabacs and also in the airports.
Mauirce has also provided a selection of DVD's and CD's as well as a number of guide books. So you needn't carry one with you. There are hundreds of channels from which to choose on the TV and an AM/FM/DVDCD player.
The Tourist office of AIX is a few mintues away from the building and you can get lots of assisitance there too.
Mauirce sent in a cleaner after 6 days and she did a lovey job while we were out.
Our only regret which had nothing to do with the apartment was the 8 days of rain we got but there is little one can say about that.
We would certainly rent this place again if given the opportunity.

From the time Maurice picked us up at the bus station to the time we left everything was great!Maurice and Helene were so welcoming and the apartment!!!!It is lovelier than the pics.Centrally located,clean,with an outside space which was great to come home to after a day of touring! It was our second stay at Maurice and Helene's lovely apartment in downtown Aix and it won't be our last. The apartment is in a great location, right in the centre of town and is extremely well appointed. Everything you may need is on site. Maurice and Helene are great hosts and very helpful. We are already looking forward to our next time there.
