We spend 3 days in this apartment in montreal, and we loved it. The location is just great, close to the metro and most of the turist places (old port, mont royal, underground city, etc).... even the small super maket across the street was very convenient
This apartment is perfect for a short stay... everything went as expected.

I rented this place not knowing what to expect. By looking at the pictures, the place looked beautiful, but was it the reality. I'm telling you, I wasn't disappointed.

Very clean, a lot of natural light, nicely decorated. Plus, I was walking distance from St-Laurent ( perfect for the night life) and all the great outdoors festival! The metro was easy to use, and ran late at night. It made visiting the city very pleasant.
Everything I need it to make my stay a great one.

nice apartment and well located

We stayed here for a weekend and it was perfect for the arrival in Montreal because is very central and one is on walking distance from main attractions and everything needed. The building in fact is old (like I read in other reviews) but I found it quite good and the apartment is nicely renovated and with very modern decoration. I just find it too small for 6 but perfect for a couple.

This is a great place and as they say in business .... location location location ... everything is from a walking distance. There is absolutely no need for your car. The indoor parking made us forget that we came with a car ;-) we got worried when we sad the one bad review ... and we can confirm that none on this is thrue, this place is great for the price.
The owners where also very usefull along with all the amenities. We used the money saved on the hotel to spoil ourselfs ;-) Montreal has so much to offer ! We would go back in a flesh if only we had more vacations this year.

The building is old & worn out. It smell so bad. In the evening you can smell how bad. There is no ventilation on the hallway. The carpet on the elevator was so old the hallway was so small & carpet was plastered w/ eletric tape. The front door is hard to open even the unit, I'm embarassed to bring my friends there. I rather spend extra $100 more and stay in the hotel along Sherbrooke. There are so many hotels & motels in the area. I was extremely disappointed w/ the area. The inside was nice but the surrouding was bad. The next door neighbor is so loud their stereo was next to my bed. I could hardly sleep. This is an apartment not a condo, there are so many kids crying early in the morning.
I will enver ever stay there anymore. I only sleep there for 2 nigths cause I can stand the smell & the neighbor next door always banging the walls.
Owner's Response: We are please to know that you liked the interior of our apartment but it is very unfortunate that you haven’t enjoyed your stay. Constructive suggestion is always welcome in order to help us to improve our services and apartment.

First of all, you are definitely right that our unit is not a Condo. This is the reason why we have listed our unit as an apartment and not a Condo.

Montreal is a 4 seasonal city. From autumn to spring, there are generally lots of rains, snow, dirt, calcium. Therefore, building owner usually installed temporary carpet in all common areas in order to increase the safety for the tenants. Due to harsh conditions of the cold season, the carpet usually looks very damage at the end of spring. For your information, we had already removed the carpet 2 days after your departure.

Regarding the main door of the building, we have sent our genitor to verify the doors and the lock. Actually, the doors work fine. But yet, we still asked him to lubricate the door anyway.

It is very unfortunate for the noise disturbance that you have experienced. We never received any complaints from anyone living on the 3rd floor regarding noisy neighbors or kids crying. You have to understand that your neighbor might receive guest or family in their apartment. Therefore, they might cause more noises then normal. The same circumstances can also happen in Hotel’s room. If you would have mentioned the problem to us while you where here, we could have talk to your neighbor to lower their volume so that you stay would be more pleasant.

Customer’s satisfaction is important to us. This is why we read all our tenants email. Further more, we are constantly doing renovation to improve the conditions of the building. A week after your departure, we have installed a brand new eco friendly hot water system. Landscaping for the front of the building and a makeover of the lobby are planned for June. Renovation of all levels corridor and brand new elevators are in the pipeline for the coming months.

It is very important that you raise your voice when a problem occurs. So we can help you as fast as possible when it is doable. This advice is good for any vacation homes and hotels.
