A wonderful place to escape to

What a wonderful apartment. Fantastic space and easily large enough for our family of six. Set in a beautiful location. a medieval farm based around a courtyard, we did a double take on arriving to make sure that the apartment was really the one we had booked - the photographs don't do it justice. Huge space with a table tennis room downstairs and our own section of barn to use. The view of the courtyard from the balcony is wonderful.
Lots of beautiful towns and historic sights to visit. And we found a great swimming lake at Seewald; about half an hour away.
Owners, who live on the other side of the building, are very friendly and accommodating. Gave us lots of information and ideas for days out..
Our only regret was that we hadn't brought the family bicycles although the owners lent the children two.There is a cycle path running between the house and the garden area which is safe (no vehicular traffic) and runs for miles though the countryside.
Would highly recommend for a family seeking to get away from it all and to explore the black forest. Excellent value for money.
