This apartment is located in the Downtown Washington Convention Center / Mt. Vernon Square area - 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 4-5 comfortably. The location is ideal for attending meetings at the Washington Convention Center, sightseeing on the National Mall, or just visiting our Nation's Capitol. The location is one block from the Mt. Vernon Square Metro stop on the yellow line and the proximity to downtown allows for you to walk to just about everything! If you are driving, no problem, parking is available in our secure garage that is located in lower level of the same building.

Location, Location, Location: This unit is located across the street from the New Washington Convention Center and the Mt. Vernon Sq. Metro stop on the Yellow and Green lines. This will get you directly into Reagan National without even having to transfer!! Just a short walk to countless restaurants and places to shop. Take a few stops on the metro, or walk @ 1mi. to the National Mall and the Smithsonian.

Luxurious and Convenient: Everything is at your fingertips: Washer/Dryer inside the apartment, along with a full fitness center on the ground level and a Roof Top Pool, Gas Grill, and patio seating with a beautiful view of the city. This is a great place to relax after a long day. Please note that the building is NON-SMOKING.

Great place to stay - very close to the metro, nice, well maintained, and comfortable. The location is great, close to the sights and there are grocery stores and other conveniences close by. They made arrangements for a driver to pick us up and take us back to the airport - which was awesome - and were very responsive and easy to deal with. We were a family of four - our kids are four and eight and we loved having two bedrooms and some room to spread out. The kitchen was nicer than the kitchen at my house and had everything we needed.

The apartment was great. It was clean and had all the amenities needed. It is close to the yellow/green line metro. It was great to have more space to move around in.

Excellent stay and so close to convention center

Our stay was perfect. The unit was clean and well-maintained and furnished with everything we needed. It is truly one block from the convention center. The owner provided perfect service. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Chinatown with wonderful restaurants is within walking distance. Bus stops are not far away. All in all, it was quite nice. Thank you!

Great condo

The Condo was everything as described and then some. 1 block to the Metro and the DC Circulator and within walking distance to DC's attractions and restaurants. We had a family of 4 and there was room to spread out and the rooftop pool was great for the kids. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone. After staying in a Home Away accomodation I will never stay in a hotel again.

Convention Alternative

This is the third year I have attended a conference in December at the Washington Convention Center. This year, however, my wife who traveled with me, looked into Home Away. This condo is not only in a perfect location relative to a quick walk to the Convention Center, but it's more cost effective (even for only two people) than the conference's host hotel which is even farther away! The accomodations couldn't have been better! This unit is beautifully decorated and well-equipped, providing considerably more room, comfort, and ammenities than a hotel stay. The owner was very pleasant and quite helpful. The location is also convenient to the Metro, restaurants, shopping and museums. We'd definitely recommend this unit to anyone visiting DC.
