This villa is in the traditional 'Mas' style, but has modern conveniences. It's situated on a hill with beautiful sea views, and vineyards behind the house. Bandol is famous for its wine. And it's immortalized in the paintings of Cezanne and the impressionists. This is an excellent location from which to explore Provence and the Cote d'Azur. There are blossoms, rosemary, and lavender almost year-round. Historic villages are nearby. There is also the garden apartment, which may be rented together at a reduced rate for larger groups, or separately for a small family. It has two bedrooms and all facilities.

In general my family and I liked the house - but it's oversold. The socalled "enclosed courtyard" is a small dry space, which is open to both sides - leading to areas with high grass and garbage floating around. Don't leave your kids alone!

The price announced is for the small lower appartment, but the pictures and the text praise the upper appartment.

1 mile to the beach is very optimistic.

It isn't mentioned that you have to clean when you leave - and if you don't, they want money.

The pool is nice and the local couple doing the practicallities are very friendly.

rent the house if you don't have any alternatives.
