This luxury house on the Riverside golf course has a huge deck overlooking the 16th green, and features spectacular views and sunsets over the mountains and the Columbia River. Seven additional 18-hole golf courses are less than half an hour away, as are two lakes with beaches and boating amenities. This home is next to Fairmont Resort, hot pools, a hot waterfall, and Fairmont ski resort. Six other ski resorts are within a two-hour drive including Panorama (the second biggest vertical in America), Kimberly, Fernie (great powder), Golden (an awesome hill), and the world-renowned Sunshine Village and Lake Louise. Heli skiing is just 40 minutes away. Cross-country skiing is out the back door on the golf course. Banff and Kootenay National Parks are nearby with a wide range of ski trails and hiking trails. This is a great area for wildlife and bird spotting, in the largest wetlands in western Canada. Fishing abounds in the Columbia River, and there are many well-stocked mountain lakes.

The house is close to the local grocery store and a mere 300 yards from the Riverside golf club house with a bar and restaurants. The house has a large 400 sq. ft. kitchen with solid oak floors; the living room (800 sq. ft.) has a fireplace, a piano, and the 4.5 X 9 foot oak pool table. The hot tub is situated on deck on the second level overlooking the 16th green. The owners live in a self-contained apartment in the basement. They are there to give advice & fix any problems that may arise, and to maintain the garden.

Great Family Get Together Location

We had a sibling get together and this place was the perfect place for that. This kitchen was large enought to host us all and it was great having a large sectional in the livingroom next to the pool table which played host to many games. The hot tub looking over the golf course was very relaxing. We found that it was very convenient to have a washroom basically with every bedroom. It was close for nice walks and not to far for our ski day at Panorama. Pippa was great and gave us great customer service. I would definetely recommend this to friends and family and we look forward to returning some time.
