Our area is rich in civil war and Native Amernican history and offers nature lovers an abundance of bird and wildlife viewings with many waterfalls and hiking trails including the newly established Cumberland Trail. Country roads invite you to explore Fall Creek Falls and Cumberland State Parks. Close enough to Chattanooga, Knoxville or Dollywood for a day trip.   • $155-175 / night / cottage (up to 4 guests)
  • 50% rent due via major credit card to secure reservation. Balance of rent and taxes is due at check in. Rental agreement due within 7 days of initial reservation deposit. A refundable security deposit of 50 % rent is held against credit card at check in and refunded within 48 hrs of departure if conditions of rental agreement met. Cancellation policy: Cancellations hurt our small family operation. Full refund less 10% credit card fee for cancellations received prior to 21 days before arrival date. For late cancellations (within 21 days of arrival date) or early checkouts no refunds are issued. We understand that events happen so let us know asap and if we can rent it out we will credit you towards a future stay. We are a small family operation and cancellations really hurt us. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Rates ($155-175/night/cottage) Rates for major holidays are $185/night. Rates are per cottage for a maximum of 4 people. 5th & 6th persons are $10/night/person surcharge. (Twin comfort level air bed & extra linens provided). Babies are free (crib provided). Rental Taxes (9.75% sales tax and 5% occupancy tax) will be collected for rental durations of less than 30 days in accordance with TN state and local law. For more than 30 days, taxes are not required to be collected. Pets: $5/pet/night (call us for details). 50% rent due via major credit card to reserve cottage. Balance due day of arrival. Refundable security deposit. Rental agreement due within 7 days of deposit.

  • The Master Bathroom has two double pedestal sinks, raised comfort height toilet, a jetted spa tub with hand held shower and safety grab bars. Tiled in porcelain stone, it offers a retreat of luxury in the country with its complimentary bath salts and spa robes. The Country bathroom is porcelain tiled with a full walk-in shower with radio and seating. Raised comfort height toilet, antique mirror, country ladder for towels and an old fashioned style bowl sink offer modern amenities with a country feel. A state of the art whole house water purification system ensures pristine baths and showers that feel like rain water and purified drinking water straight from the tap. Towels and toiletries provided. Spa Robes provided. Extra towels provided for hot tub. Whether it is outdoor on the deck in our 5 person hot tub, or inside the master bath with our oversized spa tub, luxuriate in privacy and unwind from the stress of day to day life. Pamper yourself.

The Master 'Romance Bedroom' has French doors opening onto the deck - wonderful woodsy mountain farm view. Decorated in black, white and red with romance netting, it makes for a wonderful romantic retreat with its ensuite spa jacuzzi bath with double pedestal sinks. Our second 'Honey Bedroom' is located down the hall next to a second bathroom with a full walk-in porcelain tiled shower with radio. Decorated in an elegant country style with hues of gold, browns, it has a primitive country feel yet luxurious. Armoires, candles, wall sconce lighting with dimmers, wood floors, area rugs, comfortable seating and reading lights. Fine linens, extra spa towels & spa robes provided. Many B&B amenities and eco friendly soaps and toiletries. This Cottage called 'The Pinecone' sleeps four comfortably but we have air beds and a travel crib available to borrow for sleeping for up to six.

Notes: Our area does not offer broadband but the Red Barn Restaurant has free wi-fi and is 5 miles from us. Most guests enjoy a cup of coffee and get their email there if need be and more simply disconnect for a bit and enjoy the peace and quiet! Blackberries and laptop air phonecards work well here. Hiking onsite: We have two trails offering short 15 minute hike or hour workout through our back forests. Fishing onsite : Guests are welcome to 'catch & release' the bream (brim) & fresh water bass in our farm's spring fed secluded pond a short hike away. (Only artificial bait, worms & crickets allowed as bait to protect the pond's eco-system.) No cleaning fees. Housekeepers can be hired if desired. Firewood and gas for outdoor grill is provided free of charge. Home made bread and delicious pizzas made from scratch and cooked to order and delivered to your cottage. 'Hot Biscuits and Homemade Jam' picnic baskets with fresh juice and hand churned butter delivered to your cottage for those slow lazy mornings. Let us pamper you ! Farmhouse kitchen open Thur-Sun. Sophistication, elegance, polish and modern style meet country charm and romance!! The blend is phenomenal! You have thought of everything, and we were so very pleased with our accommodations. The organic atmosphere is a definite plus, including the whole house water filtration system. We felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. The Pinecone Cottage is highly recommended by us, for anyone seeking ultramodern conveniences within the cottage, plus the simple back to nature pleasures of reading for hours in a hammock - and listening to the birds and breezes! We have to mention the hot tub and spa robes, such pampering!! We will definitely be back, to experience the breakfasts everyone is raving about in your guest book. THANK YOU for sharing your cottage with us.

Absolute best value...We have rented several cabins over the years and Pinecone at Grandview Mountain Cottages far exceeds all expectations. Gloriously clean. The host has provided for your every want or need with amazing attention to detail. Nature provides a beautiful background for this special retreat. The Tennessee mountains are always gorgeous in the fall, but the view from the master bedroom of the Great Smoky foothills is absolutely wonderful.

The cottage is easy to reach, but truly feels secluded. The interior is impeccable. So unexpected in a simple mountain cottage!
