John aus Berlin, war 5 Tage zu Ostern 2009 mit meiner Lebensgefährtin an diesem Refugium. Als Architekt ist es für mich mit ihrer gegebenen Lage ein Traumhaus, die zum Glück durch den geschlungenen Anfahrtsweg von Reisebussen gemieden wird und doch so nah an den sehenswertesten Routen der Region liegt. Ein herrlicher Panoramablick zum Wasser, den Bergen, Zen ohnegleichen. Der Koch- und Essbereich öffnet sich zum Wasser, im oberen Stockwerk prasselt zeitweise der Regen auf das schützende Dach......

Die Beschreibung der Ausstattung und der Lage durch die Vermieter entspricht voll den Gegebenheiten. Der Ausblick vom Haus auf den Kenmare River ist traumhaft. Vom Haus aus, vier Kilometer von Ardgroom gelegen, kann man herrlichen Ausflüge in die Umgebeung unternehmen. Wanderungen auf den Klippen in der Nähe des Hauses, sind auch zu empfehlen. Ich und meine Familie haben dort schon mehrfach Ferien gemacht und werden auch noch öfters hin fahren. Wer Ruhe sucht und Urlaub von der Hektik machen will, ist in dem Haus bestens aufgehoben.

Sommerurlaub Ardgroom Irland 2008

Wir hatten zu viert einen wunderschönen Urlaub in
Irland an der wilden Westküste. Vom Flugplatz Kerry
fanden wir (nette Wegbeschreibung des Vermieters) das
total ruhig gelegene Haus. Der Blick auf das Meer,
einfach traumhaft. Mit 4 Personen hatten wir reichlich
Platz, ein Paar weilte oben, wir richteten uns unten ein.
In der grossen Küche haben wir Frauen gerne gekocht.
Es fehlt uns an Nichts!
Im gemütlichen hellen Wochnbereich saßen wir gerne
zusammen. Abends wurde es oft spät bei Wein
und Kartenspielen. Die EM konnten wir im TV verfolgen.
Viele Ausflüge, die uns im Haus vom Vermieter vorge-
schlagen wurden, haben wir unternommen. Sehr schöne
Orte gesehen, tolle Natur und freundliche Menschen.
Mit unserem kleinen Mietwagen erkundeten wir die
grüne Insel. Natürlich fehlte der Besuch im PUB nicht u.
eine irische Tanzveranstaltung besuchten wir auch. Nach
14 Tagen viel uns der Abschied sehr schwer, die schöne
Natur, die frische Luft, wir haben uns in unserer gemütlichen Unterkunft sehr gut erholt. Gerne kommen
wir noch einmal wieder und hoffen das bald zu realisieren.
