*Oceanfront: Frontage & private steps & decks descending to a little beach, walkable except at peak high tide; the house is set back 100 feet or so from that, so you can see the water depending on elevation. A shed/cottage sits at the top of the bluff. It is used mostly for storage, changing & storing oars & beach gear.
**We are only a few minute walk to downtown Belfast w/its shops galleries & working waterfront. Also, in the other direction The Belfast Town Park which is near the outer harbor is only a couple of minutes by car, 5 min. by bike. It has a great pool, tennis courts & a small public beach overlooking the bay.

Belfast is also a wonderful place to be in the autumn when the
leaves turn , the air turns crisper and the pace slows down.
Although we are currently booking weeks for next season, please inquire about great rates on remaining partial weeks or week-end getaways and be in the ideal spot to see foliage in Midcoast Maine.
We in the town proper of Belfast on Bayview Street , facing East Belfast across the harbor. Our house sits above a lawn which slopes down-hill to a deck & private stairs descending from the top of a bluff to a small beach below. There are several decks, places to relax & ample space for beach chairs kayaks, etc.
Unlike much of the open ocean in Maine, the harbor usually gets warm enough to swim in comfortably most of the Summer & often into September.
If there is something on the chart of amenities not listed on this site, please ask. We are updating & upgrading constantly. If you should wish to arrive by boat , please inquire about mooring possibilities.
Our house, originally built before the turn of the century, has been totally rebuilt and reconfigured and includes a new foundation, insulation, plumbing, electrical and heating, and more. Several rooms are connected to a large spacious living room-kitchen area with a high ceiling, lots of windows overlooking the ocean, stairs, landings and a loft. Many different woods are used throughout, notably oak, pine and cherry. The floors are birch, pine and, in the older parts of the house, original pumpkin pine. A wrap around deck is just outside with outdoor stairs descending to the lawn below. Our house gets great sun and has ample cross ventilation and the sea breeze is helped by multiple ceiling fans and many windows and skylights.
