6+ bdrm, 2 1/2 ba., large den, office, laundry room, 2 large decks for outside dining or 2 dining areas inside. Well stocked kitchen, nice new bbq, linens, towels, comfortable beds with country quilts. Yard large enough for a summer wedding, flowers everywhere, 100 acres to hike, hunt, snowmobile, snowshoe, mountain bike, ATV. Fish and other fauna in the picturesque stream-fed pond. The best tasting spring water anywhere. Berry patch with variety of berries, and apple trees. Large new sauna for 6. Wonderful old clawfoot tub in one of the huge bathrooms. Handicap accessible shower in other large bath. Beautiful old stone fireplace in welcoming log-beamed living room. Lots of room for family, friends, social gatherings, or peaceful privacy among the towering woods and wildflowers. Feast on deer and wild turkey roaming the property, or go downhill skiing 7 easy miles down the road. Visit Cherry Springs State Park for some of the Nations 'Best Stargazing'.

Beautiful Setting!

We found The Lodge when we needed a place for 3 families to meet for a reunion that was reachable for a weekend from our OH, NY, and PA homes. We picked the place from this site and some follow up conversations with the owner, so only knew what had been published. When we got there we were so impressed with how wonderful and well-stocked it was, as well as how nice and accommodating Mark and his family were. We REALLY enjoyed our wekend at the Lodge, and the bonus of Coudersport's Maple Festival being in town that weekend was great too. The Lodge was SO relaxing. Everyone went for a walk on the beautiful property (and there's lots of it to walk on) and we just hung out at the house and enjoyed getting reaquainted. I can't imagine a better place for a quiet getaway. Thanks for everything!

Peaceful retreat

On recommendation of a friend, I booked a week in the countryside in The Lodge at Lent Hollow and couldn't have been happier. I needed a small respite from the city, in order catch up on some writing as well as an opportunity to take the children on a tour of the countryside. I was not let down on any front, the lodging was first rate and comfortable, and the children had a non-stop lesson in nature...from the pond to walks in the forest to huge fields of sunflowers as far as the eye could see to lightning bugs at night, it truly exceeded our expectations. We also were able to visit several farms and learn about milking cows and how they are cared for, as well as visited the petting zoo that had deer and goats, and the best part were the people of the town, they were so very friendly and genuine. Thanks again for opening the lodge for us...I would highly recommend this experience for anyone that needs a recharge. I plan to come back next year. -Greg and family
