The Neighborhood: Located on the quiet side of the building, facing water and mountains, the property is at the intersection of Yew Street and trendy West 4th Avenue. Known as a mecca of shopping and dining, you will experience authentic Greek, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Malaysian, Indian, and Pacific Northwestern cuisine all within several blocks. From family-friendly diners to the shi-shi Gastropod, you have your pick of nearly 150 neighborhood restaurants. In summer months, walk down the street to take in late-evening fireworks ('Symphony of Fire'), a Shakespeare production at 'Bard on the Beach', or a swim in Canada's longest outdoor pool (Kits Pool). In cooler weather, check out nearby Granville Island (families will love the Kids' Market) visit the H. R. Macmillan Space Centre with its virtual simulator, hike through the wooded trails at UBC, or go on a quest for the perfect cinnamon roll. This neighborhood is Vancouver at its most genuine.

Sight-Seeing: World-famous ski and alpine resort, Whistler Mountain, is just 78 miles away. Perfect in any season. Grouse Mountain is less than 10 miles away (also accessible by transit). For a panoramic view of the city, take the tram to the top of the mountain and or choose to climb the 2800 ft. to the top. Families with young children may enjoy observing the orphaned grizzly bears, riding the chair lift, or being entertained at the logging show. Adventurers can try mountain ziplining, or tandem paragliding. In the winter, enjoy ice skating or skiing at this resort.

Parking and Transportation: Free, secure underground parking. Free overnight parking for extra guests. Everything you need is within walking distance. Public transit is also a safe, convenient, and easy way to get around, and you can catch the bus less than a block away. Zip rental cars are another great option, and they can be reserved ahead of time and picked up in the Safeway grocery lot across the street.

We booked a stay at this apartment for 5 days and extended it to 3 weeks. It is situated in a fantastic part of Vancouver - central to great shops, the beach and very close to downtown and Stanley Park. The owner was always available if there were any queries and made it very welcoming. It was a great home away from home. Beautifully decorated, great appliances, fully-stocked with kitchen supplies, towels and bedding. Great communication with the owner at all times. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering a vacation to Vancouver. It provided everything we needed for our stay and we were very happy.

This condo is absolutely gorgeous - beautiful decor, very clean, brand new appliances and many updates, and in a well-maintained building right in the heart of Kitsilano. The location is fantastic - great shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and the beach are all steps from your front door! I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a Vancouver vacation! The owners provided excellent customer service and were wonderful to deal with.
