This area is outstanding for outdoor activities as well as activities in the city of Missoula or a drive down the Bitterroot. The cabin is quite nice with a nice living room area with Dishnet satellite, 2 bedrooms with queen log beds, a nice kitchen and a quiet outdoor deck. A great place to come and relax and venture toward the plethora of sights to see or game to hunt.

The Best Vacation Rental!

My friend and I rented the property for about 4 days in March, and Jan was extraordinarily helpful and communicative, from our first e-mail of interest through the end of our stay. I'd never been to Montana before, but Jan sent easy and descriptive directions that helped simplify the trip.

The cabin itself is well-furnished and clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the views of the mountains were amazing. There was plenty of firewood for the inside furnace, although the house was never cold enough to need them (but it was fun to build them nonetheless!). Lolo seemed to be geared toward tourism, so there were plenty of things to do between there and Missoula.

I would highly recommend this property as a rental, if you're looking to stay in the Missoula area. The rate is very reasonable and the area is gorgeous.

the cabin was cute and clean. the area is beautiful. we really enjoyed being in a cabin as opposed to a hotel room. very private. the bed was really comfortable. the owners were wonderful. always available if needed and very friendly. i would love to stay there again sometime.

Cozy, quiet, and relaxing

The cabin was very cute and cozy. It was very quiet and restful to be there. Everything was in the cabin that we needed. It was great to have the grill, too. The location was excellent, just out of town enough to have the rural feel but close enough to Missoula for shopping. The view was excellent. The family we rented from couldn't have been more wonderful. They were very caring and kind. My daughter still talks about them! If we ever make it back to this part of the country we would definitely rent this cabin again.

We loved our 10 day stay here! Rustic and cute! Wonderful hiking right from the cabin. Only about 20 minutes to Missoula. Looking forward to our next vacation here! - Jan was a joy to work with!
