Use your private ocean access pier to walk to the Atlantic and dine at fine restaurants, fish from your backyard, listen to the ocean, or enjoy sunrises and sunsets daily. The private deck leads you to the sands of Kure Beach for surf, fishing, kayaking, swimming or sunning. You can see Kure Beach pier from your private ocean pier. From the covered porch/deck which can be accessed from each level, you can enjoy watching schools of dolphins. See you soon, have fun, the surf is up, at the beach!

Attractions include seaside recreation areas, historic sites, and the amazing Aquarium at Fort Fisher. The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce also sponsors fun family events throughout the year. The fishing pier (it is the oldest on the Atlantic coast) and restaurants are in walking distance. You can take a ferry to Southport where you can shop, eat and relax, or take another ferry from Southport to Bald Head Island. A unique coastal community where no cars are allowed.

My family stayed at this location for a week and it was not long enough. The house was as described w/ enough room for adults and children to enjoy. The house is well maintained and comfortable. I would recommend this house to anyone w/ a large family that wants all the comfort of being at home and enjoy being oceanfront.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
