Looking for a quiet, warm-weather, winter retreat on one of the most pleasant of the Gulf Coast keys? This is the place! This luxury, fully air-conditioned house is surrounded by palm trees on the beautiful island of Manasota Key. Private access to the bay and the Gulf beach (each are a one-minute walk away) make this an ideal place for lovers of the sea and its charms. This home has been professionally re-modeled, and is virtually all newly refurnished. It features tastefully chosen items in keeping with the island setting. The garden has over 40 palm trees and several mature oaks to complement the impression of an island paradise. The house is tiled throughout, extending from the family room through the bedrooms and bathrooms to the Florida room linking to the swimming pool. The open floor plan creates an impression of spaciousness and allows in lots of sunlight right through the house. Local shops and an excellent choice of restaurants are a ten-minute walk away.

New kitchen added: In 2003 a heated and caged 30 foot swimming pool was added. The adjacent spa is the perfect place to relax after your pool laps work-out! This was followed in 2005 with the upgrade of the kitchen are to create a beautiful, modern kitchen with white Newport cabinets and pink stone upstands. Naturally, it is equipped with all the modern conveniences. The latest addition in 2007 was a spacious extra bedroom featuring twin beds and a fitted wardrobe.

Addition of screened lanai/porch: The screened lanai has added a new dimension to the villa. It is the most wonderful place to sit and enjoy the sounds and sights of the natural paradise all around. You can hear the squirrels chattering to one another high up in the scrub oaks, jumping from branch to branch. There are armadillos, geckos (including a pet one), butterflies, egrets and many more species.
