Gated Community, 3 swimming pools one indoor heated, mini golf, tennis, basketball, exercise room-new equipment, game room, fishing, river tubbing, horseback riding many picnic and park areas. Cabin is located on a creek that flows into the Coosawattee River tubbing area is located at the foot of the hill by the cabin. There is a walking trail that runs along side on the creek and leads to one of the many fishing ponds

Located in the North Georgia Mountains. This region lies at the southernmost tip of the Appalachian Mountains, which is the oldest mountain range in the western hemisphere. They are often called the Ancient, or Everlasting Mountains. Ancient Indian cultures referred to this area as the Enchanted Mountains. The Coosawattee River Resort Gated Community of 85,000 acres, 3 swimming pools, 1 indoor heated pool, mini golf, basket ball, tennis, offers nature at it’s best with many winding roads, creeks, deer, eagles, and rivers running through the community where they are protected and fell safe to stay and roam so we can enjoy and watch them.

With the new growth and added influx to this area we are seeing new restaurants and stores becoming a part of our still quint and small town Walmart, Goodys, Lowe’s, Long Horn, Starbucks, KFC, IHOP, & ETC and as it continues to became an upscale environment of cultural and activities it will be a place for all ages to enjoy and yet still have that old country feeling of home. Two of my favorite are Charlies (Italian) El Rays (Mexican)

Deer Creek Cabin is accurately displayed both by description and photos. It's a pleasant environment with simple, tasteful decor. It's very clean and new in appearance. While at the cabin we spent most of our time on the covered 2nd story deck facing the front of the property. Because it's the full size of the cabin you have this wonderful sense of being in a treehouse but with every convenience close by. It's an easy 1.5 hour commute north from Atlanta on all divided highways except for the last few minutes. It's a good location for driving to nature trails including the entry point for the Appalachian Trail in Georgia. Beautiful scenery in every direction. Franchised stores/restuarants are only a 7 minute drive in East Ellijay. We didn't use any of the recreational facilities but there was a pass available. We saw people tubing down the river and enjoying a fishing pond. The owner was great to work with. She called before and during our time just to ask if we had questions or concerns. The first "go" at the steep driveway was challenging but we got "the hang of it" after a couple of times. We felt safe in the gated community yet enjoyed the feeling of not having any other cabins within close proximity. We'd definitely recommend this cabin if you want to "get away" but have convenience and facilities close by.

Absolutely Beautiful!

A great place to clear your mind and just relax. You can sit out on the porch and drink a cup of coffee while hearing the creek running by. Open the front door and there you will find deer just grazing in the yard. The cabin is cozy and comfortable and extremely well maintained. I highly recommend it for families as well as a romantic getaway. Located within minutes of area attractions and shopping. When you go make sure you eat at the local Mexican restaurant El Rays. Great Margarita's and great local karaoke singers! And if you like great Italian food make sure you don't miss Charlies!

everything I expected and more!

This is one of the best cabins I have stayed in, so cozy and comfortable. It is centrally loacated, easy to find and close to everything. Peaceful and serene yet filled with wildlife. It was the perfect romantic get away with my husband and we can't wait to go back.

What a way to vacation and really get some peace and quite. Cabin is clean, neat and cozy on inside, has walking path next to creek at the foot of the cabin..Loved downtown makes you feel like you want back in time and yet has a Corks and Crumbs (wine and resturant hub) They also have a 24 hour Wal-Mart just in case!!!!!
I will be back!!!! IT was just what I needed!!!!!
