Take a longer walk to nearby Japan Town, and to unique shops and restaurants on Union, Fillmore, Sacramento, Chestnut, and Haight Streets. Easy access via taxi and bus to all major tourist attractions such as downtown theaters, the financial center, Civic Center, Union Sq shopping, Golden Gate park, art galleries,museums, and Ocean Beach. Our flat is conveniently and centrally located in the lower Pacific Heights area of the northern part of the city of San Francisco. Adjacent to Pacific Heights, Cow Hollow and Marina neighborhoods. Numerous international restaurants, jazz clubs, unique boutique shops, and public parks are within walking distance. Our location allow easy access without transportation head aches to all major tourist attractions and downtown business district and shopping. Easy access to the Golden Gate bridge to Marin, wine country day trip, redwood forest, and ocean beaches. Freeway access to south for Monterey peninsula, Carmel, and San Jose.

Our family rented this flat from 12/25/08 through 1/2/09. It was just as described. The property was inviting and spotless; the beds were very comfortable and linens were luxurious; the kitchen was well equipped; the dining room and living room were attractive and big enough for us and friends that stopped by; and the friendly and helpful owner gave us several suggestions on nearby restaurants that were great (Ella's on Presidio for breakfast, Pomodoro on California for very reasonable Italian). Public transportation to everything was very convenient, and we had no trouble finding parking for the few nights that we had a rental car. We visited and enjoyed: Downtown, MOMA, the Buena Vista, Hotei near Irving and 9th for Sushi, the Palace of Legion of Honor, the Zoo, the Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate Park, Sausalito's No-Name Bar, and Rasselas Ethiopian Restaurant and Jazz Club on Filmore, and the Empress of China on Grant. My husband and I, two grown sons and one son's girlfriend all had a great time. I'd recommend this property to anyone visiting San Francisco. It's so much more pleasant and easier to stay in a home than be constantly rounding up everyone for meals and outings. Thanks! Marsha, Bill, Dan, Will and Katie
