This new timberframe house, designed by a major architect, features a dramatic open floor plan, open stair tower and main lake views from every room. A grand 2 story great room with stone fireplace has 5 French doors opening to an expansive deck & large gazebo area. The large master suite is on the 1st floor. Two large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a private deck are on the 2nd floor. A balcony sitting area overlooks the great room. There is a large bunk room on the terrace level that sleeps 4. The double garage is connected to the main house with a timberframe breezeway. The house features quality design, construction and appointments throughout including a gourmet kitchen with granite counters and a 12' island facing the great room and lake views. The property has 800' of shoreline wrapping a private 3/4 acre park-like peninsula with sandy beaches on either side close to the house. A max 40' dock in 8' deep water is perfect for swimming, fishing and boating.

We stayed here for a long weekend last summer and had a blast! The kids loved swimming off the dock and the beach. We enjoyed the beautiful views, the lovely house and the quiet evenings.

Our friends stayed at the Ritz Carlton, and were envious that we took the extra time to find something this special. They spent most evenings with us out on the point watching the lake and having drinks. Their kids even spent a night with us.

There wasn't much traffic at all on the lake in this area, so the water was calm enough for the older kids to take out their kayak. The younger kids fished off the doc with my husband and caught a lot.

It was a wonderful weekend and we will definitely be going back.
