Nice apartment, GREAT location!

I stayed here for about a week with my boyfriend and father. The location is perfect for getting around the city with multiple train lines nearby and lots of taxis on 7th Ave. Despite it being on the second floor it was very quiet due to its location in the back of the building (only noise problem was a broken radiator, which David had fixed after the first day.) The kitchen is a typical small NYC efficiency style, but worked great for us. (I love how you've got everything you could possibly need in a closet sized space--including a dishwasher under the sink!) We didn't really cook (no need in NYC!) but I know it would have worked out fine if we had. The broadband internet service was down during our stay, but we were able to get online most of the time using the generosity of a neighbor's open wireless. The nearby shopping and restaurants are wonderful. We especially love the Westside Market (tho a lot more expensive than the one I used to shop at on Broadway and 110th), Cafeteria (for dinner and lunch), and Le Pain Quotidien (great coffee and light meals.) Overall we loved the location, David was very helpful and an excellent host, and the apartment was very comfortable. We would happily stay here again in the future.
Owner's Response: The cable modem had burned out during the stay and had been promptly replaced once the problem was determined.
