Die Angaben im Online-Inserat sind absolut korrekt. Die Casa na Ponte ist sehr schön gelegen, gemütlich-praktisch eingerichtet und sauber. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ich werde das Haus an Freunde weiter empfehlen und auch selbst gerne wieder kommen.

Sehr nettes und uriges Restaurant in der Nähe. Schöne Wandermöglichkeiten sind auch leicht zu erreichen.

Das kleine Ferienhaus - gemütlich und sauber - strahlt portugiesisches Flair aus. Für uns gings jeden Morgen direkt vom Bett in den urigen Garten an den Frühstückstisch. Am Abend nutzten wir die Oase um unseren selbst gefangenen Fisch mit tatkräftiger Unterstützung unseres Vermieters zu genießen. Für unsere Kinder das Beste: Leon und Paulo - die Kinder der Vermieter, Molly - der Esel und die Ziegen. Zusammen eroberten sie die Gegend und genossen die Freiheit wild in der Gegend umher zustreifen.
Die Insel mit ihrer wunderschönen Natur - schier endlos blühende Hortensienhecken lädt zum wandern und spazieren ein.
Kurz und gut: rundum perfekt.

Wir haben im Sommer 2007 eine Woche in der Casa na Ponte verbracht und waren sehr angetan von dem Haus, der Lage und der freundlichen Betreuung durch die Vermieter. Vor allem der Garten hat es uns angetan.
Sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten auf Faial sind von dem Haus aus bequem - zum Teil auch zu Fuß - erreichbar.

"Unsere Gäste sollen glücklich sein"

Das ist das Motto der Vermieter, die wir dieses Jahr das vierte Mal beglücken wollen, ohne das Motto wiederholt überprüfen zu müssen. Die Vermieter, ihre Kinder (8? + 12), die angebotenen Appartments, die Umgebung (ausserhalb der Ortschaft), die Tiere (Esel, Hühner, Ziegen,...) bilden eine Einheit, in die man sich liebend gern integriert und trotzdem seine Ruhe vollkommen geniessen kann. Ein Auto ist allerdings fast ein muss - aber das ist auf den Azoren immer so, wenn nicht nur Strand und Hotel angesagt sind.

Ich würde sagen, nichts wie hin und ausprobieren!
