A beautiful tropical escape!

We are self proclaimed "world travelers" and have been all over the world but have never found another place quite like this.
We arrived in Montserrat in July and the owners had arranged for us to be picked up by their property manager right at the airport and brought directly to Bare Foot Villa. No stress right from the get go. (You'll find it's almost impossible to be stressed at this place!)
We arrived at the Villa to find a large, sparkling pool with a view of the ocean lingering in the distance in our backyard. Next we were taken upstairs to the living room to find that 2 of the walls were actually window walls that could open all the way to create an open air room! The porch coming from the living room overlooks the pool and again the ocean! The kitchen was clean and we loved the wooden window that opens out to allow the chef to feel like they are out on the porch with those who are sitting out enjoying drink while dinner is being prepared. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Outside we found a huge mango tree that we were able to pick fresh mangos from each morning. This house was amazing and still gave you the feeling that you were in "real" tropical paradise, not a sterile, pretentious hotel.
When we finally tore ourselves away from own new place, we found the several beaches to be something out of a movie. We were literally the ONLY ones there almost each time we went. We were able to snorkel, kayak to the small islands, play bacci ball, have picnics and lay out in sun totally undisturbed.
There is a volcano observatory where you are able to check out the volcano on the island and see a view that will stay with you long after you leave. We also found some hikes through the woods that were something you can't miss. We found HUGE old trees with leaves almost 5ft long, banana and avocado trees, bright orange, pink and yellow trees with strange orchids growing on them, and plenty of exotic wild life.
Lastly, the owners helped us find the best bar on the island, The Green Monkey, and hooked us up with Troy, who took us on a wild boat ride and fishing trip where we caught 2 barracudas! He introduced us to some locals who cleaned the fish for us and we took them back to the villa and cooked them up! What an experience!
This place was like nothing I've ever experienced before and made for a tranquil but adventurous experience that we've been sharing with friends and family ever since!
