Just south of the Pyrenees and inland from the sparkling Mediterranean lies Catalunya, a region of rugged hills, verdant forest and rushing rivers, a rocky coastline with craggy cliffs and secret sandy coves, colorful villages, and historic towns that are a-buzz with the latest trends in food and fashion. Perfectly placed for enjoying all these riches is Masia Bessones, a fabulous country home with 6 bedrooms that makes a most inviting base for a large group of friends and family. Mellowed stonework, whitewashed walls and cool terracotta floors provide the backdrop for a colorful décor with country antiques and rich fabrics. The vast sitting room, complete with pool table, opens onto the terrace. The farmhouse-style kitchen will be a natural gathering point, for an early breakfast, a group cooking session or a late-night chat.
