The farm, with its holiday house Acasa, lies in the heart and in one of the most beautiful places of Tuscany (12 km westward from Volterra, 20 km east from San Gimignano) nearby the open road between Colle di Val D’Elsa and Volterra on a hill with a wide panorama. All around you’ll see cornfields, woods and olive groves. Acasa is an hour from cultural centres as Florence, Pisa, or Siena and from the refreshing sea. It offers you good room for 8-10 adults and is perfect for families or bigger groups. Acasa has 4 big double rooms, 1 single room (with two saparated beds), a terrace, a living room and a big kitchen. A fireplace with wood, electricity, constant warm water, 2 bathrooms with shower (and on demand, heating in every room) are at complete disposal. A friendly Saint Bernard dog will watch you. An invitingly wonderful swimming pool (20 x 4 m) offers you a nice place where you can appreciate the fantastic view and Tuscan atmosphere.

Volterra, “the city of wind and cliffs”, is full of surprises: cultural spots like Etruscan arches, walls and tombs, a Roman theatre and medieval architecture; artisans and their alabaster and gold craftwork as well as excellent restaurants will help spoiling you. Alabaster- and goldsmiths invite you for shopping. “La zuppa volterrana” and wild pigs are cooked with the same care as for a lobster and you can try a good table wine instead of a Tignanello. The landscape and view of Acasa will make it difficult for you to go out for trips to San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Pisa or the sea, which are just the musts you do not want to miss.

It has as much space as you want to relax, to play, to make a trip etc. A swimming pool 20 m long and 4 m large invites you to bathe and, from the terrace beside it, you can admire an unforgettable view. Close to the pool you will find a wood-burning oven to cook your pizzas and a little kitchen, which completes our offer. Couples, families or friends from overseas may rent it for long periods and invite their friends to come by.

The beautiful location: A wonderful accommodation: hospitality in a relaxing atmosphere, peace and silence. A lot of room for children, a parking space, a refreshing swimming pool, the Tuscan landscape with its hills, cypresses, olive-trees, cornfields and woods, the sunshine, the brightness, the rare sound of nature - all this will give you a wonderful holiday. The house is situated on a 10.000 sqm ground surrounded by fields and woods.

Winter in Tuscany: The house is lovely during the winter for vacations or a longer stay for studies. Ask for special conditions.

Die Angaben im Inserat waren korrekt. Die Vermieter kümmerten sich rührend um uns ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Besonders vorteilhaft war die Tatsache, daß sie sehr gut deutsch sprachen.

Toskana herzlich und aussichtsreich

Wir (2 Familien, 4 Erw. 6 Kinder) haben zwei herrliche Wochen in dem alten, jedoch renovierten und bestens ausgestatteten Ferienhaus verbracht. Der zum Schwimmen und Spielen hervorragend geeignete Pool wurde ausgiebig genutzt.
Durch die gute Lage lassen sich in die wichtigsten Städte (Siena, Pisa, Florenz) aber auch die Küste mit ihren Sandstränden leicht erreichen. Volterra und San Giminiano liegen direkt "vor der Haustüre".

Besonderes Lob gebührt der Vermieterin mit ihrer Gastreundschaftlichkeitt und den vielen Tipps und Tisch-Reservierungen, die für 10 Personen notwendig sind.

Wenn man sich dann abends, nach Besichtigungen der Kulturschätze, selbst eine Pizza im Pizzaofen gebacken hat, das Glas mit Chianti in der Hand hält und auf der riesigen Terasse mit Panoramablick die Sonne hinter den Hügeln versinken sieht, dann ist das Toskana bellissima.

Ein wunderbares Fleckchen Erde!

Absolut empfehlenswert (obwohl man die Acasa lieber als Geheimtipp fuer sich behalten wuerde)!!! Sie liegt verkehrstechnisch guenstig und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Das Anwesen thront auf einem Huegel und die Aussicht ist wunderschoen. Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll, gemuetlich & komfortabel restauriert. Von Kuechenutensilien ueber Waesche, CD Player, Fliegenklatsche und Kerzen ist einfach alles vorhanden, man braucht wirklich nur die persoenlichen Sachen und Essen mitbringen. Wir haben die grosse Wohnung mit 10 Leuten gemietet und hatten reichlich Platz fuer alle. Zudem gibt es einen Pool, in welchem man wirklich schwimmen und nicht nur planschen kann, und eine grosse Terrasse mit Aussenkueche und Pizzaofen fuer alle. Sollten Sie bis hierhin schon begeistert sein, moechte ich Ihnen das Wichtigste auch nicht vorenthalten: die unglaubliche Umsicht und Gastfreundschaft der Eigentuemer, die Acasa zu etwas wirklich ganz Besonderem macht. Wir hoffen, dass wir sehr bald wiederkommen koennen.

Toscana Feeling Pur

Wir haben die Tage vor dem 1. Mai in Acasa verbracht. Die Lage auf einem Hügel ist herrlich. Wir haben den größten Teil der Zeit auf den Terrassen verbracht und die Sonne genossen. Abends am Kamin in der großen Wohnküche macht das Kochen und Essen doppelt Freude. Und obwohl der Pool im April noch ein wenig kalt ist, sind die Dimensionen einfach beeindruckend. Alles in allem, eine optimale Basis, um mit großer Familie die umliegenden Städte der Toskana zu erkunden und gleichzeitig Pool-Urlaub auf hohem Niveau zu verbringen.
