Great rental condo

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo in December 2008. The place was super clean and all the furniture and finishings seemed brand new. Some of the towels and linens still had store tags on them! The condo is certainly as nice as the lovely photos on the website and the kitchen had everything one might need (and more). We put all three HD flat screen tv's to good use and the wireless internet as well. There was certainly enough space for a family of four with the kids sharing the second bedroom. In every respect the condo was as described in the website listing and we were very pleased.
The building is fairly new and well-maintained. The pool was bustling with activity, particularly Christmas week, and there were lots of young families with young children in the pool area. The tennis court was also getting good use all week. It is easy to get in and out of the building and the various amenities (beach, pool, etc.) with the use of a small key fob that provides access and security. Christian provided four of them for us so each member of our family could come and go as we pleased.
The gate at the back end of the pool led right out to the beach so it couldn't be any easier if you are looking for beach access to swim or take walks.
You really need a car in this area of Hallandale. Christian included the use of his parking spot and the garage door opener, which we much appreciated. Otherwise you need to valet park each time you come and go. Aside from the beach, there really isn't anything in easy walking distance. However, five to ten minutes in the car and you can shop along Hallandale Beach Blvd. (Publix to fill the fridge, Starbucks, sandwich shops like Panera), head over to the Aventura Mall (one of the nicest malls in the area with Bloomingdales, Macys, Cheesecake Factory, etc.) or head down A1A (Collins) for shops and restaurants.
If you like to golf, I played at The Diplomat, Orangebrook, The Presidential and Jacaranda and none was more than 15 to 20 minutes away.
We were a bit concerned about renting a privately owned condo from a stranger over the net, as we hadn't done that before. But we were very pleased with all our dealings with Christian and he made it as easy as possible for us to enjoy our vacation. He even left some tennis racquets for us to use so we didn't have to bring ours down with us.
We really enjoyed our stay and are happy to recommend this condo to anyone looking to rent in this area.
