Fabulous panoramic ocean view! Two bedroom (king and twin beds) each with it’s own bathroom and balcony. Master bedroom has flat screen TV & DVD. Living room has large plasma and DVD/VCR. The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances. Also included is Free Internet and cable. This private gated, 120 acre, community with 24 hour security has: world class restaurant, 3 swimming pools, kiddie pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Tiki bar, newly renovated fitness center, Free tennis, Free 9 hole golf (small fee Jan-March) Condo includes: beach chairs/umbrellas, beach toys, and 2 queen deluxe air mattresses. On the island and in Ft. Pierce there is: dockside dining, Sunrise Theater, charter boats, kayaking, many local parks/trails (one allows horseback riding on the beach for $35), farmers market (live entertainment), Jensen Beach Night, and Manatee Observation Center. Notes: There are 3 swimming pools. Seascape pool is private/heated and has jacuzzi and sauna. Communal Seascape pool is larger with shuffleboard and patio with charcoal grill. Main pool is larger yet with Tiki bar, kiddie pool and newly renovated fitness center, volleyball, bocce ball, basketball, mini golf, and recreation center. For example, weekly ballroom dancing at the world class restaurant at Ocean Village. We have lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, boogie boards, skim boards, roller blades and razor scooter. All of this is in the enclosed garaged. The air mattresses are queen size, high off the floor, and add sleeping for an additional four people. This is a Private Paradise and kid friendly unit.

Within 1-2 hours is: Orlando/Disney, Epcot, MGM Studios, Sea World, Cape Kennedy, Space Coast, Daytona 500, cruise lines, Worth Avenue (West Palm), theater, and opera. Recreation Department has planned activities. So much to do; or just sit with cocktail in hand and watch the sunset from the beach or balcony. 9 Hole Golf Course at Ocean Village Resort Local Agreement with Panther Woods Golf course.

Simply Wonderful!

Yes the views are impressive. Yes the condo is very comfortable. Yes Ocean Village offers a lot. But most important the owners - Jill and Matt - actually communicate with you all through the process.

They work very hard to make your stay memorable. Unlike some previous experiences with other condo rentals, it is easy to contact and talk directly with the owners.

We loved the fact we could see the ocean from every window in the condo. And, as a plus, we could also see the Indian River.

Morning walks on the beach and relaxing by the pools became a daily experience we did not want to leave.

Easy trips to nearby Old Town Stuart, Port St. Lucy and Vero Beach made dining and shopping easy.

Jill and Matt's condo had everything we needed. We even found flashlights were available in case of a power outage.

We will miss our morning coffee on the front balcony. The view from the 9th floor is wonderful.

The landscaping at Ocean Village is spectacular. Every bit as good as a world class resort. And having tennis courts and a 9 hole golf course on site is convenient and a real plus.

We also enjoyed reading the journal left on the table for renters to leave comments.

If you are looking to rent a condo on Hutchinson Island this is the one to rent in our opinion. Our next trip to the island will include a return to this relaxing and well appointed condo.

First Class All the Way

What a pleasant experience! This was our first time renting through private owners. Jill and Matt were fantastic; they treated us like friends/family. The lines of communication were open from the start with all the needed details from pre to post rental. The condo is amazing! It was a true home away from home. We were so comfortable, we didn’t want to leave! This vacation with our 20 yr old twins will be one we remember for years. We will miss the hours relaxing/talking on the patio and the other activities: golf, tennis, pools, and shelling at the beach. Everything was clean and first class all the way! Hope to come back.

Million Dollar Views

Jill's condo is fabulous. It is tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture. The views are among the best in the resort. All of the rooms had access to the two screened in terraces. The furniture there makes it a great place to relax and have a drink. The unit is also close (many units are a walk) to two pools, the beach and the newspaper stand(by the pool).

Jill has gone out of her way to make your stay comfortable. We even had flash lights the night the power went out. She also made recommendations of things to do. We went to the Saturday farmer's market on the river. It was charming with the fountain and live music. (It over the bridge, right on Indian River Drive next to the city marina.)

The whole resort is next to a large wooded area. We took an early morning drive and saw a mother bobcat and 3 cubs crossing the road.

It is a great value for the money and as a native Floridian, the area of Ft. Pierce still has some of the old Florida charm.

My family gives it "thumbs up."
Owner's Response: Each renter shares different experiences. This time, however, I was jealous! The drive from Ocean Village (120acre resort) to Jensen beach takes about 20 mins. It's mostly undeveloped with parks and wooded areas. A beautiful scenic drive. How incredible to see a mother bobcat and her cubs!!

WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING

This was our first family vaction with our 2&3 yr old. It was perfect. The girls loved swimming in the pools and were jumping in and going under before we left. I even got one of them in the ocean and came home with bags full of shells. The unit was gorgeous, exceptionally clean, family friendly and the views are spectacular! The kitchen even had a juicer and blender. They truly thought of everything. The owners could not have been more helpful even suggested a great park (Jaycee Park) right down the road for the kids and some great town events. We can't wait to go back.

We think your flat (sorry condo) is just great and can't think of any suggestions for improvement. We saw a quite a lot of Florida and your condo was a real high spot of our trip. The views were terrific,especially sunsets/sunrise, and the balconies were a real plus- a real home from home. Loads of space and lovely bed. (Loved the huge flat screen tv and the one in the bedroom. Thanks for all the useful information too!!
