Getting To and Around Stowe::
Getting to Stowe is easy, and you’ll enjoy an extraordinary landscape on the way. Once here, a car is convenient but not entirely necessary. The Stowe Trolley is FREE in winter and runs regularly between Stowe village and the resort, with abundant stops along the way. Want a night on the town, but don't want to drive? Call Peg’s Pick Up at 802-253-9490.
Stowe Culture::
Whether you’re interested in fine wine or big air (or both), Stowe delivers. It’s a multi-dimensional community with many interesting personalities and things to do. Stowe Theatre Guild, Stowe Performing Arts, and the Helen Day Art Center keep the Arts on center stage year round. Many wine, food, art, and activity festivals take place throughout the year in Stowe, also. Whether your passion is Hot Air Ballooning, Wine, Music, Dance, Flower Gardens, Fine Art, Antique British cars, Oktoberfest celebrations, or ice sculpture carving, Stowe truly offers something for everyone!
Stowe Skiing::
Stowe is the quintessential New England Ski Village, and Stowe Mountain Resort is the Ski Capital of the East! The addition of a new inter-mountain transfer lift, new trails, a new beginner area, 2 new high-speed detachable quads and new fully-automated snowmaking on Spruce Peak has reinforced Stowe Mountain Resort's position as the East's premier skiing & snowboarding resort.
