This luxurious and extremely spacious vacation condo is situated in the brand new 5 Star Solara Resort just a short walk from Canmore's downtown, and on the doorstep of Banff National Park & Kananaskis Country. Your vacation condo is luxuriously appointed with natural elements throughout: wood, stone, leather, and natural cork flooring. Your every need is catered for with nine appliances and quality cookware to satisfy even the most discerning of cooks and dedicated wine coolers for wine lovers. The spacious open dining and lounge area provides a great area for entertaining with a 42'TV/DVD, iPod/CD stereo, fireplace dining suite and access to the balcony. The lounge also includes a double sofa bed. Each bedroom has a King sized bed, sumptuous mattresses and bedding, together with a warming fireplace, 32' plasma TV/DVD and iPod stereo/alarm. One of the bedrooms can also be configured as a twin room if required. Both bathrooms are en suite with walk-in aqua therapy shower.

Amazing National Parks just a short drive away: The surrounding area is known for some of the best hiking, mountain biking, and climbing in the world. The Yoho, Kootenay, Banff and Jasper National Parks and Kananaskis Country are all only a short scenic drive away.

Ski: Many downhill ski resorts are within a 100-kilometre radius, including Lake Louise (a 50-minute drive), Sunshine Village, Nakiska, and Banff Mount Norquay (only a 15-minute drive away). The Canmore Nordic Centre, which hosted the 1988 Olympic Nordic events is only 5 minutes away, and offers 84 miles of groomed Nordic skiing trails in winter and mountain biking in summer. Other winter sports available in the area include: snowshoeing, outdoor skating, ice climbing, bobsledding, and dog sledding.

Deluxe Property at an affordable price

My husband and I stayed for six nights at this superbly clean and wonderfully comfortable condominium; it is modern and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and first class linens, making our stay most enjoyable. After a full day skiing the jets in the master suite bathroom shower were welcome. Chuck, the property manager was friendly, and helpful. Conveniently close to Banff (a car is a must).
We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to those who are looking for: ELEGANCE, COMFORT AND AFFORDABILITY.

My husband and I rented this condo for a long week-end and it was amazing! The accomodations are first class, spotless and the condo offered all the amenities one could wish for. It was private, quiet and truly was a escape for both of us. We enjoy walking and the walking trail is basically right out the door,the condo is close to restaurants and shops, perfect!

Excellent service great place

I stayed at Solara in February this year and thoroughly enjoyed my vacation. The condo is stunning, brand new and very well equipped - it even has a fireplace and LCD TV in the bedrooms. It is spacious and the description on this website perfectly matches our experience.
Mike Liverton personally manages the guests requirements and nothing is too much trouble. We were able to easily travel to Banff for our skiing and the enclosed parking area is large enough to accommodate 4x4s with skiis.
Its a fab place we are going to return again soon and we would definitely give this place the thumbs up for a 5 Star treatment. Keep it up!

Great Stay

We stayed in this condo on the weekend of September 27th and were blown away with the quality of service, ammenities and location. A couple joined us for a weekend in Canmore and Golf in Kanaskis. The one item we absolutely needed was high speed wireless as their was a very important Hockey Pool online that the boys needed to attend. Mike ( owner ) ensured that the wireless was installed, working and left simple instructions for connecting. The connection was PERFECT!

We were greated by the property manager and owner on the first night we arrived who both went above and beyond our expectations to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The property manager even suggested a few restaurants to go to for Friday evening and we took his suggestion and had a very enjoyable dinner at Tapa's.

The property was beautiful and had all the upgraded ammenities that you could ask for. We spent all Saturday in downtown Canmore and really appreciated the proximity of the condo to downtown ( very short drive or 20 minute walk ). We will definately try and book here each and everytime we escape the City ( Calgary ) for a weekend or longer.
