The property is located in a quiet residential community, surrounded by trees but just steps away from Washington’s best tourist destinations including the U.S. Capitol, the National Mall, all museums, D.C’s Waterfront and the National’s Baseball Stadium. In addition, the unit is very close to Washington’s business destinations and federal buildings. Walk to three different metro stations. Next to Capitol Hill and Chinatown/PennQuarter neighborhoods. The condo has 2 levels. The first floor offers a living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen with everything to prepare a wonderful meal, stainless steel appliances and washer/dryer. The second floor has two bedrooms one with a queen size bed, the second with a double size bed and a fully remodeled bathroom. Additional features: TV, DVD player with several movie dvd's, linens, hair dryer, and a small private patio. Satellite TV with Cinemax, free wi-fi, XBox with a few sports games, FREE assigned parking.

Guestbook Comments - From Ontario, Canada: Many thanks for opening your gorgeous guesthouse to us! The set-up was perfect for our family-our teens thoroughly appreciated the x-box and wi-fi. The beautiful appointed kitchen and incredible beds impressed the adults to no end. We took your advice and ate @ Ten-Pehn. Delicious! It was wonderful to be able to walk to The Mall, see the sites-and such a short drive to the Pentagon memorial (and Pentagon City Mall- another hit for the boys), the Safeway, and the Smithsonian. If you are ever traveling to Ontario, be sure to look for us up!

Everything about the guest house was wonderful and charming. The rooms have lots of personality and sophistication - Gerardo and his family have very good taste. Our family flew from Asia and stayed over a week in the property, so having a kitchen, laundry, etc. was very convenient. Getting around DC wasn't a problem and whenever it came to all the essential sites like the Smithsonian we simply walked. Otherwise the Federal Center metro seemed to be closest.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

You will love it....A perfect home!

Perfect in all sense of the word! The location, the amenities, the size of the guest house, the accomodations. All perfect! We truly enjoyed our stay, we found the guest house to be clean , neat and very accomodating to our needs. The rooms are very large in size and the beds super comfty. I appreciate all the small details that were available to us... The location was perfect walking distance from to the Circulator Bus, Metro and the grocery store. The neighborhood is quaint and we felt very safe. As a mother of three little ones space and convenience was important. My kids loved the accomodations and especially the X-box. The movies were also a nice touch! We found that the area maps, and general information you made available to us was a great help to us in planning our vacation. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra day! Gerardo thank you for all your assistance you are very professional and kind. Best Wishes to you and your family!

A Great Stay!

Thank you so much for allowing us to vacation in your lovely home. It was a beautiful, comfortable retreat after a full day of sightseeing. The weather was perfect and we were able to walk to several of the sights on our "must do" list. Thanks for your time and all of the suggestions, especially the cupcakery :) Everything from the soccer game on Xbox to directions to Safeway helped to make this a thoroughly enjoyable experience that will not soon be forgotten.

We stayed in this duplex for 5 nights and had a fabulous stay. The duplex is very comfortable, very clean and close to everything. It was equipped with everything that my family of 4 needed. We were even blessed with fabulous weather. We will definitely be recommending the property to family and friends visiting Washington.

Beautiful guesthouse

We really enjoyed our first time in Washington, D.C. in such a peaceful neighborhood. The Guesthouse is filled with every little detail such as a complete guide with recommendations for visiting the DC, exclusive details, excellent in cleanless, and good taste for decor.
When visiting DC again we will surely want to stay here again. Thanks for everything, from Bogota, Colombia.
