This beautiful home is nestled above the road, situated in a back corner, peaceful and quiet. Not far from Locust Lake, home of the great 22'' largemouth bass no one can seem to pull ashore.I was told more than once,he shakes his head and snaps your line! Our family of 5 were very comfortable, there are large knotty pine cielings,a fantastic living room with a flat screen tv,one of two,the Master bedroom also has a large flat screen tv,equipped with over100 cable channels, crisp, clear reception. Comfortable beds, towels provided.Outstanding fully equipped kitchen for groups big and small.
There is a gas grill outside, you can sit and enjoy the private lot, often having a family of deer come walking by.
We fished the four lakes constantly. One lake is stocked every year with over 600 trout,All lakes have catch and release bass[caught a 5 lb er at Locust lake].Pickerel, catfish, and big sunfish are abundant .Pilgrim Lake was a nice quiet surprise for fishing. Make sure to have a temporary or regular PA license, and the community badges present at all times.[$6 a day extra, but well worth it]
The security force is top notch here, very informative.[Drive 25! lol]
The beaches were raked twice during our stay. The restroom facilities very clean.
Turn right outside the entrance, and take a 10 minute drive to Blakeslee on a Saturday in June/July to enjoy the Flea Market, and fresh vegetables and cookies cakes, jams, and honies brought in by the Amish.
You will really enjoy your stay at this home,we certainly did.We highly recommend this property, and the excellent customer service provided by the owners.
Just wait until you see the moon over the lake at night.
