This beautiful apartment is located in a two story house situated on a large property, located on quiet Hampshire Street, only a 3 minute walk from the beach at the edge of the turquoise blue Bahamian sea on Cable Beach in Nassau, Bahamas. The owners Armin and Vernice Wernli, live on the premises. You can rent the beautiful, spacious, self-contained 2 bedroom apartment in one week units, starting Saturdays. It is fully air-conditioned, has a modern kitchen with all appliances (with dish washer), a dining area, sitting area with big TV. Cable service, Telephone and wireless broadband Internet are at your disposal free of charge. The livingspace of the apartment is about 850 sqf. The weekly rental is USD 1,200.00, inclusive electricity and water. Upon request, we can arrange for full maid service. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer at your disposal at no charge.

The Hamshire Residence is located on 92 Hampshire Street, in the Cable Beach area of Nassau, Bahamas. It is a quite residential neighbourhood, in walking distance of beaches, many hotel resorts, casino, restaurants, shopping, foodstores, post office, night life, sports. The local bus # 10, here called 'Jitney' can take you downtown Nassau for $ 1.00 per person/ride. Stand on the side of the street and wave your hand when you see one approaching. They run during daytime only. Scotia Bank is located on West Bay Street, about a 10 minute walk or 2 minute bus/car ride to the east of Hampshire Residence

the place was awesome! we had all the facilities we needed.( washer, drier, dishwasher, stove etc) there was full access to the pool. it is only minutes away from the ocean, the markets and the bakery. there is easy bus and taxi access there. i would rec amend this place to families with children. the zoo is only a 5 minute bus ride away!! if i ever get a chance to go to Nassau again i would want to stay there.

Fantastic

Renting Accomodations was a new experience. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we hated to leave. We were made very welcome and by the end of our visit I believe we made new firends. We were treated to a dessert tasting by the pool one evening and a barbque of native fair, that was to die for, another evening.
The house was emaculate with every convience that we needed. We were in walking distance to all ameneties (grocery store, "Bakery" liquor store, restrauants and the beach. The transportation system was one street over, very easy to use and cost 1.25/trip.
We enjoyed the at home atmosphere. The whole experience as "sweet" ( Grandchildren's vocab ). We definately will return and highly recommend it.

Bahama paradise

This was the best vacation we have been on. The two landlords, Armin and Vernice, are some of the sweetest people we have ever met. They did all they could to make us feel comfortable and at home. When our luggage did not initially arrive, Armin drove us to the airport the following day so we wouldn't have to take a taxi. They provided us with all the information about the island, recommendations of where to visit, and even cooked us a delicious meal of local cuisine on the back patio one night. Would highly recommend this if you are looking for a relaxing vacation that you will always remember. If we ever return to the Bahamas, we would not hesitate to rent this property again.

A very warm welcome to the Bahamas

We are a family of four - boys aged 17 and 9 and we had a wonderful holiday here. The owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. The property is beautifully kept and provided everything we could have needed including internet access which was a great bonus for our older son. Cable Beach was an ideal area for exploring the island,locals and bus drivers were all friendly and helpful and Vernice and Armin introduced us to the local churches which were memorable.The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed trips to Atlantis, Ardastra Gardens and Snorkelling with Bahama Divers. We would wholeheartedly reccommend this property to anyone but especially families with children of any age. The bread and pastries at the Swiss shop take some beating as well.

Fantastic House & Location

Me along with five other friends had the pleasure of staying at this location in early June. It is a extremely comfortable, clean and well kept. The owners are very helpful and non intrusive. The residence is also well located as several restaurants, shops, supermarket are all within a short walk away.
