'Parrot's Roost' is a beautiful beach front home with two decks, both with great views of the ocean, which is located just steps from your home on a private boardwalk. The home has a private gazebo with a swing bench, and has outdoor seating and dining areas. You'll enjoy three TVs, internet access with wifi, and free phone service (within North America), as well as cable TV. Outside the home, we have a wonderful gazebo, outside furniture, and both charcoal and gas grills available for your use. A great location for your visit to the Crystal Coast!

  • The top floor contains a living area with TV, cable, a kitchen, dining area, and one master bedroom with private ensuite bath and one queen bed. The middle floor has a second master suite with two queen beds, a living area with TV, and an ensuite bath. On this same floor are two additional bedrooms, each with queen beds and sharing a bath. On the middle floor, we have also equipped the master with a laptop computer, printer, and game systems for the kids (on rainy days!) (Note - as of April 2009, someone had stolen the computer and printer.... I am working to get a new one down there as soon as the insurance is processed!) On the lowest floor is a private apartment with it's own bath, one full and one twin bed, as well as the laundry facilities and garage.

We had a great time as always. The house and location are just perfect for our 'gang' getaway. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out, eat together, sleep and enjoy our visit. Look forward to next year!

I had so much fun last year that I had to come back! The house is lovely and perfect for entertaining lots of friends. I plan to go back next year for my third visit. Clean, well supplied kitchen, lots of room with great seating/chatting areas, beautiful view and sunsets.

My family just spent 4th of July week in this home and we were blown away at how wonderful it was! The house was extremely clean when we arrived, and we were excited to find the kitchen well stocked, as we enjoy cooking together. The location of the house (at the end of a cul de sac) offered ideal parking for the vehicles we had. In addition, the location of the house in relation to the beach was ideal! It was just a short walk on the boardwalk from either deck or ground floor to the beach. As for the beach, it was incredible! Great views up and down the coast, and daily sandbars that allowed for shallow pools of water to form so the children could play safely. The two dens on separate floors of the house was perfect for our large family to separate and enjoy different television shows in the evening. The kitchen table was HUGE, which allowed us to eat dinner together as a family each night. I was able to bring my dog, a Cockapoo, and he was very happy and well adjusted the entire week. I stayed on the bottom level, as it was affectionately called The Bat Cave, and even it was wonderful. It was quiet and dark in the mornings, which allowed for lots of rest. We enjoyed getting to know the "host family" through the pictures displayed throughout the house. We were so impressed with this beach front home, and we hope to book again next year. We would definitely recommend this home to large families or groups. Hope to see this home again very soon!

GREAT VACATION RENTAL!! Who would enjoy this house? Families and friends that are looking for a wonderful location, beautiful views, lots of bedrooms and baths, a well equiped kitchen, great gathering areas, decks and a good time! Highly recommend and plan to be back!!!
