Great Summer Rental in Scarborough Beach Area - Leave the car in the driveway the beautiful beach is only a five minute walk. This 2 bedroom unit is part of a duplex. It has one bathroom, a nicely appointed kitchen and great up to date furnishings. The rental has an outdoor deck and gas grill. It has cable and high speed Internet access. The 2 Bedroom side Does Not have a washer or dryer but the 3 bedroom side does. We personally clean the entire house from top to bottom each May and between each vacationer during the summer. Many repeat vacationers bring their extended family and rent both sides. Don't forget the family pet - they are welcome with some minor conditions. Scarborough Beach has great boogie-boarding and skim-boarding, body surfing, fishing or just relaxing in the sun. After the beach, drive to one of many clam shacks for some local treats. Just three miles away are batting cages, mini-golf, go-carts, and in-line skating. Visit the Port of Gallalie - it's a real working seaport. Get fish right from the boats. The Scarborough Beach area is relatively flat for good walking, bicycles or jogging. When dinner time roles around there are lots of restaurants around-from fancy to family style. A quick 30 minute drive to historic Newport or a 45 minute drive to Foxwoods Casino, Mohangan Sun Casino or Mystic Village seaport.

  • Summer 2010 Season Rate
  • This property is one half of a duplex. The other half is a 3 bedroom unit that is also available for rent. The decor and condition of the two units are equal. However, the 2 bedroom side DOES NOT have a washer and dryer. Many families rent both side and invite their extended families on vacation. The in-laws can visit you and your family but retreat to the other separate unit at the end of the day. Please contact me for more details.
  • We ask that at the end of your stay, please leave the house as clean as you received it. If you would like us to arrange for someone else to clean, there will be an additional charge of $75.00.

    An extra $100 will be added to the required security deposit for the dog.

  • This bathroom is small but it does the trick. We personally clean the entire house before each guest arrives. Blankets and pillows are provided if you get cold at night from the sea breezes. There is a local company that provides linen and beach gear rental service at very reasonable prices. Please inquire if you are interested.

Beautiful, convenient rental house.

The house was very well maintained. The owner was very accomodating when we spoke. It was a short walk from a beautiful beach and lots to do for the kids within a short distance. The neighborhood is clean and friendly. Arturo Joe's was an excellent italian restaurant and the area has plenty of stores to choose from for all your needs.
