Our comfortable holiday home is part of a nice Valaisan holiday complex with radio and TV, indoor pool, exercise room, sauna, solarium, south balcony, tennis court, restaurant and an underground garage. Top service: In winter and spring there is a station for the BVZ ski-railway right at the house so you can start skiing without lines at the lifts. On request we can offer you a shuttle service after the last train from the airports Geneva (easyjet, last train dp. 19.47), Zurich (swiss or ba, last train dp.20.13) or Basel (easyjet, last train dp. 20.07).

  • Skiing all year under the magic Matterhorn! Information for the ski ticket: Children under 9 years of age are free, teens under 16 years of age get a reduction of 50%.

Further Details: Zermatt has an impressive mountain landscape including the Matterhorn and 9 of the 10 highest mountains of Europe! Visit the worlds largest Glacier Grotto on lesser Matterhorn and the highest viewpoint with 200 miles view - open 365 days a year!

Trip through the Alps : Zermatt is the final station of the famous Swiss mountain railway Glacier Express from St. Moritz to Zermatt, from Piz Bernina to the Matterhorn. A railway journey across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels and across the Oberalp Pass at 2,033 metres in altitude. A panoramic trip through the Alps in the heart of Switzerland.

Ski: Zermatt-Täsch is situated at an altitude of 1,450-3,899 meters. The three ski areas of Zermatt and Cervina (Italy) are worldwide unique. 73 lifts and cable railways provide access to 250 km of slopes of all levels of difficulty. A ski school with 200 instructors and child-minding for children of 3 months and older is available. There are no lines at the lifts. It is the largest summer ski region in the Alps on the Lesser Matterhorn (3,820 m). 15 km of cross-country ski trails direct to the house, sledge run and ice rink are in Täsch. New this year: With the Matterhorn Ski Safari skiers and snowboarders will be able to cover a difference in altitude of 10.000 to 12.500 meters without having to take the same cable car twice!

Golf: The Matterhorn golf course of Zermatt is located on the valley floor between the two villages of Randa and Täsch at 1400 m above sea-level and very close to our apartment. The golf course has been laid out on two separate pieces of land on either side of the River Vispa. The 9-hole course is almost level and easy to walk around. A former area of marsh has been transformed into a lake which will contain a unique island green. The Scottish golf course architect John Chilver-Stainer planned the 21-hectare golf course to blend in with the natural landscape. 9 holes about 50 CHF, 18 holes about 90 CHF.

Eine Woche in der schön gelegenen und ruhigen Ferienwohnung ist viel zu schnell vorbei gegangen. Die gut gemachte und sehr informative Website hat uns den richtigen Einblick gegeben und für die weiteren Fragen war der Kontakt mit dem netten Vermieter sehr einfach und hilfreich. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist großzügig und man vermisst nichts. Bei schönem Wetter ist der große und schöne Balkon mit der fantastischen Aussicht sogar im Winter einfach ideal und wenn einmal kein Sonnenwetter ist, dann ist das Hallenbad unten im Haus ein anderer Ort um sich zu verwöhnen.
Für uns als Wintersportler war die Haltestelle der Eisenbahn direkt hinter dem Haus eine ideale Möglichkeit um direkt nach Zermatt zu kommen um dort sofort in die Skigebiete weiter zu fahren. Langschläfer können sogar Brötchen bestellen. Kurz gesagt eine prima Adresse mit einem ausgezeichneten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Vielen Dank und allen, die noch kommen, ebenfalls einen schönen Urlaub.
