Far Horizons is situated just 100 steps from the sandy beach of Frank Bay which offers great snorkeling. The home overlooks Frank Bay, Turner Bay, and a bird sanctuary. Out the gate and around the corner is a convenience market for all basic necessities. Just a five-minute walk away is Cruz Bay, where you'll find shops, boutiques, fine and casual dining, and entertaining nightlife. From Cruz Bay it's just a short drive to the larger grocery stores, the North Shore Road, as well as to the National Park and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The 1BR/1Bath, lower-level unit features a king-size bed, air-conditioning, cable TV, and telephone in the bedroom. There is a queen-size, pull-out couch in the living room and the kitchen is fully equipped. The unit's real beauty is outside where there is a large brick patio and splash pool surrounded by a fenced-in yard, filled with beautiful plants, trees, and flowers.

A home in paradise

The location was great! Right near town (just a 5 minute walk) and a beach where you could go watch the sunset. Having the dipping pool was great but we spent most of our time on the beach. How can you not? They are amazing!
The owner, Anna, was great. She showed us around town our first day, picked us up at the ferry dock, and also brought us shopping for essentials since we did not have our rental car yet.
There were little ants that would try to eat your food if you left it out so we just stored everything in the fridge. Even if the box was closed, they would somehow make it in. But if there was no food left out, there were no ants.
The garden area was great. We BBQ'ed dinner there a few nights and is was great. Just had to wear bug repellent to keep off the bug bites. There were a lot of little geckos around that were fun to watch. We even spotted a huge one in the yard our last day!
The beaches were the best part of the vacation by far! We loved Maho, Salmon, and Honeymoon because they were beautiful, smaller, and not crowded. Trunk Bay was beautiful but, or course, a lot of people.
If you are thinking of coming to the Virgin Islands, do so! It was amazing, beautiful, and fun!
