Historic Park Slope Brooklyn - Lovely Studio Apartment - 102 Berkely Place, between 6th and 7th avenue. Location: The 102 Berkley Place building is a registered 'Landmark Building' located on a beautiful block. This landmark property which was the original Berkley Institute back in the 1940's. The building has an eclectic group of residents such as artist, musicians and writers. The studio is located on the first floor and sleeps four people. There is a queen size loft bedding area and a queen size sofa bed, with a working kitchen and full bathroom. The studio has t.v., radio, coffee maker, stove, fridge and microwave oven. This property is located within walking distance to the famous Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Grand Army Plaza and Prospect Park. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within a few blocks. The subway is about 3 blocks away and short ride into Manhattan.

The studio is close to plenty of restaurants and bars. There are a few day spas within a few blocks. There is a farmer's market at Grand Army Plaza every Saturday. There are supermarkets and grocery stores near by and cozy coffee shops. On 5Th Avenue there a stylish boutiques and great hair salons. In case you need medical attention Methodist Hospital in a few blocks away. There are plenty of cabs in the area to take you around town if you don't want to take the subway. You will enjoy the Brooklyn Museum, Botanical Gardens and the Brooklyn Library all located with in walking distance. And of course Prospect Park.

Over all the place was great, fantastic location, close to it all or you could grab a cab or jump on the train to the many attractions.
The apartment was cute and had everything you need. The only thing that was missing was a good night sleep and you need that when you are traveling. The bed matress was horrible, the worst thing my husband and I ever slept on. We have traveled to many places and had some bab beds but this was the worse. We even tried the pull out and of course it wasnt any better. If there was a new matress involved I would stay there again. Besides the bed it was great, the owners were very nice to deal with.
