Cozy, quiet, newly remodeled home with a private backyard for relaxing outdoors while you listen to the sound of the ocean. Privacy fencing all around allows pets to be outdoors too.This community is across the street from the ocean and features private parking at the beach, private beach access and also two-story tiki hut for shade or watching dolphins from an elevated view. One mile down the road is a lively beach with restaurants, showers and bathrooms. Surfers are on the far end of this beach. The river snuggles up to the other side of Beach Club Colony where there is a boat ramp for guests and residents. Lower in your boat or kayak (rentals available on the island). Explore the river while you watch native birds, turtles and small animals as you glide along the waterway. The home is fully furnished with linens, pillows, cookware, reading material, as well as games, cable TV and VCR movies. We are located on S. Hutchinson Island, one block from the ocean, and across the river from Stuart and Port St Lucie area. Access to the island is from either the Fort Pierce, Jensen Beach or Stuart causeways (bridges). The towns of Jensen Beach and Fort Pierce were settled in pioneering days and still feature a old-time town flavor and antiquing. Jensen Beach, in particular, has street-music evenings along the town center area of restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and quaint shops.

We had a great time staying here! The condo was the perfect size for us (8 people) and not too far from the beach. We made good use of the kitchen and loved the quiet island. We went out to eat twice (Definitely go to Crawdaddies, you might want to pass on the Dolphin Bar..), but the best food was fresh seafood and live crawfish and crabs from the mainland. Furniture is comfortable, no complaints from us!

Hutchinson Island is wonderful!! This house is wonderful!! We stayed a month and will be back next year!! Everything was provided; we didn't have to bring anything. Nice dishes and linens, nice furnishings, good quality furniture. And we liked having a washer and dryer and cleaning all our clothes before we left instead of having to do it at home.

Great time on the island. House had all the amenities; very relaxing. Saw dolphins cresting from the observation tower of the tiki hut!!
