Mountain Chalet home for rent in Indian Mountain Lakes gated community. This home boasts 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and sleeps 10. It's just 10 minutes away from Jack Frost/Big Boulder, Split Rock, 10 minutes away from Nascar racing, 30 minutes away from Camelback/Camel beach, 30 minutes away from 'The Crossings' premium outlet with over 100 stores located in historical Tannersville. It is now 40 minutes away to the brand new Mount Airy Casino in Mt. Pocono. This home also boasts a pool table, ping pong, dart board, game table, PlayStation 2, DVD/CD player, a crib, and even some toys for the tots! Outside grill and hot tub too! In the summer enjoy all the amenities of the gated community such as the two pools, 5 lakes, tennis courts, and basketball courts. Sleeps 10 with 3 queen sized beds in the three bedrooms, two singles in the fourth bedroom, and a full foldout couch bed.

Great retreat cabin.

Our Church decided to do a couples' Mini-retreat as a way of strengthening marriages. The accommodations were very comfortable. the Spa around the side of the house does have some issues. The Internet has some glitches that need to be worked out. but overall, it was a great time to enjoy te fall colors and convenient traveling to nearby sights (Boulder field at Hickory Run State Park, Jim Thorpe, etc. The owner was very helpful and accommodating to us. He was only a phone call away from helping us figure out things.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: The cable company was called and the repairs were made.
Most of the time problems with the hot tub are minor and can be fix with a simple phone call to me.

Our group was just looking to reconnect after not seeing each other for very long. 6 of us fit very comfortably, and we loved the hot tub, although the second day, the jets would not work. Also there was no wireless internet, but other than that, it was affordable, clean, beautiful, and we would definately revisit this house! thanks again Jason!
Owner's Response: I NOW HAVE HIGH SPEED INTERNET.
The hot tub needed a few minor repairs. Everything is fixed and is fully operational.

Very nice location

I recently stayed at this location from 7/5/09 to 7/8/09. While the exterior of the house could use some sprucing up the inside is very neat and clean with a nice layout and nice size rooms.It was fun to play ping pong and use the pool table with my girls and also the use of the spa. We were fascinated by all the deer roaming the grounds. By the last day we even were able to feed one by hand which was very cool for my family to do. I personally wished I had looked into more different places to eat before I had made our way up there, or just looked in the correct drawer where there are different menus of area eating establishments (I found them after we had went out).We were only 25 minutes away from Camelbeach which was a blast and with less hassle then other waterparks. And for race fans the Race track is only 10 to 15 minutes up the road. Jason was very easy to deal with and always got back to me whenever I had ??. I would definately recommend this place to anyone and I'm sure I will be checking into this rental once again.

Nice Place

This was a nice house for our getaway. Some of the amenities "included" really weren't though. It is stated there is dial up internet, when really there is just a phone jack...
There were also supposed to be 2 bikes but they were locked up in a shed.

The jacuzzi was also nice but you had to run the jets constantly for about an hour for it to get over 92 degrees.

It is layed out very nice though and fit our family of 10 perfectly.
The owner was easy to work with and provided a clean house for us to stay in.

We did enjoy going to Boulder Field and some of the other places in Hickory Run Park. We checked out the butterfly sanctuary on a rainy day and really enjoyed the deer that showed up daily to graze in the yard.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children
