Pool & Dining:
Private Pool (2): We have both fresh and saltwater pools to enjoy. The freshwater pool is a beautifully dark blue tiled two level pool. This is great for small children. The saltwater pool is fed by the ocean, it is a warm, relaxing lagoon. Take your mask and look at all the little fish and shells within.
Full Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one would need, it's just like cooking at home. A 5 gallon water cooler is full of fresh drinking water for you at all times. We even have a espresso/cappucino machine.
Cooking Utensils Provided: The kitchen is stocked with all of the utensils one would need to prepare a feast. Mexican hand-painted platters, a full set of plates, bowls etc (both ceramic and plastic for lounging poolside), wine glasses and whatever else you can imagine.
Catering Available: We have a handful of talented personal chefs that will tailor any needs and palate. *There are additional charges for this service.
Barbecue Outside:
Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: A full size gas grill with all the utensils needed to grill that fresh fish you caught today.Deck/Patio: The whole backside of the Villa is a deck. There's outside seating for 10. There are also 4 sunbathing lounge chairs that face the waters edge.Balcony (3): The suite facing the garden has a perfect little balcony with a lovely seat for two in the lush greenery. We also have two indoor 'sitting areas' that are attached to the two 2nd floor suites. Large sofas and chairs face the ocean viewed through huge opening windows. This is a great spot for reading and meditation.
Oceanfront:
Oceanfront: Casa Mariposa is within 50 ft of the waters edge. Stairs lead down to the coral-rock beach. Tidepools are filled with little fish and sea creatures that have made them their little home. Shells that have washed up and sunbathing iguanas reside here. Walk out into the ocean and you will find some fabulous snorkeling and diving. One of the best spots in Puerto is just a swim away from the shore. You will know where it is because often there are little boats anchored on the spot. Bring your fishing gear and wade out into the water. The water is the clearest blue and is so inviting. White sandy beach is only 5 minutes away.
Casa Mariposa has been rated one of the top five rental villas on the Mayan Riviera coast. This rank was based on location, interior design aspects, having both… a fresh water pool and a salt water lagoon/pool, service, money for the dollar and comfortability.
Golf:
Golf is only a 10 minute walk.
The PA Golf course is an exiting and challenging course. This beautiful 36 par jungle golf course was designed in 1991 by Thomas Leman and is still one of the best kept secrets in the area. The fairways and greens are covered by a smooth carpet of Bermuda Grass and surrounded by Palm trees, bugambilias, tropical ficus and lush foliage.
On your daily rounds you may encounter iguanas, deer and different species of tropical birds and other local fauna.
The Golf course opens every day year round from 7:30 AM until dark. Golf Carts are not mandatory and no reservations are necessary
The Proshop offers a selection of golf items, beverages and club rentals. Special weekly and monthly rates are available upon request and also three, six and twelve month memberships.

Golf Club Rental: $27 US Dollars We offer Left Handed Clubs and Right Hand Clubs.
Tee Times are not needed to play but are recommended for groups larger than a 4 some.
