Woolwich ranch style home with wrap around deck is located on a beautiful quiet dead-end street minutes from Bath and Wiscasset. Two and a half acres with 350 feet of tidal bay frontage on Montsweag Bay. Large deck partially screened. Spacious, comfortable accommodations, tastefully furnished. Bring your kayak or canoe (canoe and kayak rentals are 5 minutes away and they deliver and pick up), high tide is approximately 8 feet deep. Exceptional views. Well behaved pets allowed. No smoking permitted. Perfect for a family vacation.

This is a beautiful house on the water with wonderful views! It was very clean ,spacious and nicely decorated. The interior seemed new and fresh,very comfortable and eye appealing.The description was very accurate. The owners are very nice to deal with.They went out of their way to be helpful. We had a great vacation at this property!

Great family vacation home

My family rented both the main house and the adjacent apartment during the first week of August. It comfortably accommodated all twelve of us, spanning three generations. The main part of the house was large enough for us all to enjoy meals together in the kitchen/dining room, and to spend time together in the living room and on the screened porch. The house was immaculate, and had everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. While we used the apartment mainly for the additional bedrooms, it was also very clean, and well stocked. The view of the bay was gorgeous, and the neighborhood was extremely quiet and peaceful. We found the owners to be extremely accommodating, and available by phone or email for any questions we had both before and during our stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in the mid-coast Maine area.

A perfect Spot!

We rented both the house and adjacent apartment for 11 family members and it worked perfectly. Both places were neat, clean, well appointed, with freshly painted ineriors.
This is a great location for exploring the Maine mid coast region. Places we visited that were well within reach for half day trips ranged from Portland, Freeport, Bailey's Island, and Bath to the South and Wiscaset, Boothbay Harbor and Rockland up the coast.
The property is located on a quiet, beautiful road which we found to be great for biking and our early morning walks. We brought our kayaks and launched them right from the property for some relaxing paddles. (It's a tidal bay so you have to keep an eye on the tide schedule). But some of us didn't want to be so active and spent lots of time reading on the deck or in the screened porch (very nice). If you go, stand on the deck on a clear night and turn off the lights. There's not so much light pollution here and the stars were fantastic!
I'm an antiquer, so I was happy to find the Montsweag Flea Market (antiques - Wednesdays) less than 10 minutes away and the Avalon Antiques Market only a few minutes more. And we liked being able to get to the supermarket within 10 minutes!
The photos on the website just don't do justice to the place. We're going to submit photos from our trip in hopes they will post them on the site.

Woolwich ranch

My family and I stayed at this rental property the last week of July. We found the house to be clean and well maintained with a nice floor plan and nice colors throughout. The description of the property and amenities was accurate. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch which gave us bug free views of the tidal pool. The house was located on a pretty, quiet, dead end street. It was in a great location for traveling to Bath, Wicassett, Boothbay, and Popham Beach. We very much enjoyed visiting the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden in Boothbay. We would recommend this rental property to friends and would hope to return next year.

Beautiful home with fantastic view

The pictures do not do justice to this property. We
truly enjoyed staying in this lovely home. It is beautifully furnished and immaculate. The master bedroom and bath are on one side of the living room and the other two bedrooms and bath are located on the opposite side of the living room. We were traveling with our son, daughter-in-law and two grandsons and the arrangement of rooms was perfect for us all. All bedding and ample towels are provided. The home also has a full size crib and high chair. The partially screened deck is a must in Maine. It rained off and on most of the time we were there and we were still able to enjoy the deck and the incredible view. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, the cabinets are well stocked with dishes, serving pieces, utensils, etc. and a washer and dryer are always a welcome item when traveling with small children. We flew into Portland and the home is an easy hour drive north. The owners of this property are wonderful people to communicate with. We received excellent directions to the property and found it with no problem. We had a few questions during the rental process and the owners were prompt in getting back to us. We will definately stay here again when we visit Maine. The Freeport outlet shopping area, Boothbay Harbor region, and many restaurants in Bath, Brunswick and Wiscasset are an easy drive to and from this home. The area where it is located is quiet and very private. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the mid-coast area.
