Fantastic weekend!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this amazing home. There is ample living space for multiple families or groups. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals. And the property and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. We're looking forward to a return visit, for sure.

It's like camping, but in a mansion/castle

If you are looking for a very rustic, peaceful location and wish you could fit everything you ever wanted in the trunk of your car, this is the place. If you haven't spent time recently in a modern castle (no shame in that) at the top of a mountain, check this place out. You can see forever. By the way if you want to cater in they know the best chefs and if you want the best massage you can get that too.

A Mountain Top Experience

A trip to the Scottish Castle is like stepping into a feature in Architectural Digest. It is a unique and gorgeous building, bathed in light, and offering both wide open and cozy spaces. Every detail has been well thought out, every amenity is there, and every window has a postcard perfect view.
I was there for a conference, and the building offered ample spaces for working, socializing, meeting, and working alone. It was sometimes difficult to concentrate because I really wanted to spend my time gazing out the window. At night the stars were spectacular. My recommendation is to treat yourself to a steak meal from the local caterer. I can't remember ever having such good steak.
The owner has a list a activities and services that will make the conference or vacation even more special.

This place is excellent

We have stayed at Grahall in both winter and summer. This is an amazing peaceful and private place; the pictures do not do it justice. The views are fantastic.

This is a wonderful and classic Vermont experience for us. For me, when I drive up the long driveway (over a mile) I feel the cares of the world slipping away, and when you come around the final bend and see the house, the cares are gone.

We have hiked, sledded, snowshoed, played flag football, enjoyed bonfires, and roaring fires in the living room fireplace. The kids have fished, caught frogs and salamanders, canoed in the pond, made smores, sang at the bonfire, and presented on the stage of the granite amphiteatre.

The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped for creating all kinds of meals. We have also had some great take-out meals. There is an awesome bakery in town (short drive).

The house is well-designed architecturally both inside and out. We will continue to be regular visitors.
