Photos and Description of this Brooklyn holiday 2 bedrooms sleeps 6 persons.

2 Bedroom sleeps 6 persons. First bedroom faces the front of the house, has lot of light coming in. Second bedroom opens to the garden. Both bedroom have queen sized beds. The garden is lovely in the summer, decorated with flowers. This summer we have added a seating area to bask in the sun. A true find in New York. Lovely spacious rooms 10X10 withe Queen sized beds in each room. The livingroom has two sofas that sleeps 2 guests. The apartment is located in a tree lined block, quiet, charming. Located within 15 minutes to Lower Manhattan and Close to the Hippest area of Brooklyn such as the Museums, Cafes and Restaurants. Forgot to mention one great asset, Great place to Barbecue in the summer. The yard is a big as the apartment. Very Cool place to hang out in the Summer.

An architect's dream. Great if you love to see Choirs in action. Located 10 minutes by bus to BAM and Clinton Hill. We are in the heart of Brooklyn. The Labor Day Parade is a must see, the multicultural facet of this Parade is breathtaking. Come prepared to enjoy all the different musics from the West Indies and the foods. Brooklyn stands on it's own. The pace allows you to see the real New Yorkers living and interacting with each other. Come and enjoy your stay at a garden apartment in New York City.

Beautifull Brooklyn appartment

This brooklyn appartment was beautifull and was perfect for our time in new york. It's is about 20 min from manhattan by subway, and the subway is on walking distance. The proporty was well maintained, but it could have been cleaned better. The bathroom was perfect and had everything needed as well as the kitchen. There is a nice little café near the subway where we had breakfast most mornings..

To concluded: we had a lovely time in the brooklyn appartment!

Excellent stay on Madison Street

We had a fantastic time while staying at Darren's apartment on Madison St. Locals were friendly, the aprtment was close to a subway station, and you are in Manhattan in 20 mins.The apartment was spotless and a good size, as there were 4 of us staying. Bed's were all very comfortable and had some really good nights sleep there. Darren is a great guy and would gladly help us out with local knowledge and friends who helped us out a lot. Very enjoyable stay in Brooklyn, would go back there at the drop of a hat.

The Perfect Place

The apartment is absolutely gorgeous! It is spotless and offers the comforts of your own home. Upon arrival, Darren, the owner, gave me a thorough tour of his property, use of the house keys, even pointing out the restaurant that provided delivery service. Since he lives across the street, if there are any problems he is readily available. Being from NY and familiar with the area, there are a couple of Soul Food restaurants a block away that are delicious. When I picked up my fiance, he was equally impressed. Until we find a place of our own (and this is exactly what we are looking for), we will definitely want to stay here again. The apartment is located on quiet, residential street. There is also on street parking and I was able to park in front of the building. The city bus is in close proximity - although I don't have information on where is goes, but it is quite frequent.
The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom was spotless with nice, plush towels and generous sized tub. Because of the weather (25 degrees) we did not open the back door to the garden. I'm sure that would be nice to use - in the summer.
I have to reiterate again on how impressed we both were at the size of the apartment and on the cleanliness. We can't wait to return for a longer stay!

My sincere apologies to Darren for waking him up - due to schedules- we left before dawn. Sorry!
